Extremely talented people. Very clean and professional. By far THE best place to go for a tattoo. The atmosphere is super laid back and everyone there tries to make you feel at home. There is a reason why Aloha was best in state.

Got a tattoo here on Friday the 13th, and I guess I got unlucky! (The scribbles in the wings are supposed to be “13”) Everything was going fine until midway through the artist tells me she’s an apprentice. She was very kind but I DID NOT consent to being tattooed by an apprentice, nor would i have. I understand everyone has to start somewhere and I respect her for trying, but I felt extremely disrespected by not being told. Ny body is not a practice mat and I have to live with this tattoo forever, so that just seems a little unfair. The owner did offer to fix it for me (by blacking it out) but by that point I was very upset and didn’t want anyone in that building touching my body. So be wary and make sure you ask.

Jose and Cisco are straight up badass vatos! Got my tat done fast before work looks great. Nice clean lines and shading. super stoked on it. Be back for sure!

Cisco was amazing he helped redesign my design to fit the area. The whole group there was amazing To calling to make the appointment to the very ended . I am more then satisfied with my tatoo!! Thanks Cisco!!

Michael does solid work. Cool shop and chill environment. I'm fairly covered in ink and this has been my favorite shop so far.

These guys are amazing!! Professional, super talented artists, friendly, kind, and funny. It took me years to choose a design. Then I spent months researching tattoo shops in SLC. I had half a dozen consultations. Most blew me off as it was my first tattoo and rather ambitious. I came across Aloha and specifically Jon Poulson. I loved his work, but he is so good that he was booked out a month for even a consultation. It was well worth the wait. He took the design, played with it, and shared his recommendations. It took another month before I could get on his schedule. I went ahead and booked two sessions as I knew it was going to take more than one. He is that in demand. I arrived a little nervous. The vibe in the shop is great-- unpretentious, totally professional, and fun. Luke, Chance, and Kayla are awesome. When I got home, washed the tattoo, and took a look, I was blown away by the detail, the line work, and the precision. Absolutely incredible!! My only regret is that I didn't book more sessions earlier. He is booked out 6 weeks. When I got home, I immediately scheduled another two. Best tattoo shop in SLC!! I cannot wait for my next session!!

I went to get my septum pierced and Jace made my experience the best I've ever had getting a piercing done. He is by far my top piercer now. The shop was super chill too, I was having issues with my anxiety and no one made me feel bad about it, no matter how awkward I was getting.

Jesse and the whole team was completely awesome! I was getting my tattoo to celebrate my 5th year cancerversay, so it was very special and important to me. I gave some ideas to Jesse and he ran with it and made my tattoo even more amazing than I ever thought. The shop was clean, fun, professional and I absolutely loved the music. Everyone was so friendly. Special thank you to Alika for getting me in with Jesse before my original date. I would highly recommend Aloha! Go schedule your tat with them STAT!

In response to the owners response from my original review: I work hard for my money and it's really disturbing that you think its a valid excuse to not hold your tattoo artist accountable for the bonk service he provided. I even mentioned that I understood that people have their days, but to sit here and tell me and my friend that it's all about the tattoo and not the overall experience is mind blowing. What do you think keeps people coming back to a shop? The overall tattoo experience, thank you. And to excuse his behavior or should I say projecting his overall bad attitude on us is embarrassing on your behalf; maybe he shouldn't have been tattooing that day if that was the case. We did not deserve that and to say the least the tattoos were subpar for 214$ and a tip which he totally did not earn. Next time I'm having a bad day, I'll make sure to project that onto my customers and totally gas light them for it. Oh and thanks for caring about our day and how leaving your shop left a pi$$ poor taste in our mouth. This one is for you.

Where to begin.... Me and my bestfriend came in today to receive some matching tattoos, which we did receive. I would like to commend the lady and other gentlemen for their hospitality. However, we had the displeasure to meet the artist Nico. I've seen his work and he is talented, but he honestly was one of the most unprofessional tattoo artist I have ever had. We came in with an idea, and I respect the fact that he turned it down because he believed it would not stay, however the way he treated us and spoke to us was absolutely opposite of what the establishment listed as their values. He spoke to us as if we were an inconvenience, and as he was tattooing us we noticed between tattooing he was watching the TV. No conversation-nothing. We had a simple sun and moon tattoo that was to commemorate how long we have been friends and our very first tattoo was of the same design. What a way to celebrate! The experience we were looking for was not delivered. He created a very uneasy and negative atmosphere at the time and I hope he does better for whoever comes next and sure were all human and have our days, but man that really sucked.

I’ve had work done by Jesse Payne on two different pieces, and highly recommend him and the shop. Everyone is super friendly and helpful. Jesse is extremely detailed, talented, informed and professional. I’ll be coming back for more work.

Shout out to Jesse Payne. He's an amazing tattoo artist! He pays attention to detail and he's a perfectionist. If you want American traditional see Nico; he does excellent work and he's very fast. You'll get a lot of quality art for your buck. The whole crew is awesome! I've had nothing, but great experiences at Aloha.

I booked a half day, and forgot to let them know I was bringing my cousin as well. Called to ask if I could give up some of my time for her. They were extremely accommodating and told me not to worry about it. I sent in a couple of photos of what I wanted. Nico talked to me and explained how they may not be the best options and why. He drew something similar, but they both turned out so much better than what I originally wanted!! Nico is a great guy, fun personality, AMAZING tv viewing choices (😂), and just an awesome talented man! The place is clean, the people are great, the artwork is amazing. If you read poor reviews, the people leaving them are probably just miserable a$$holes anyway. Nico has earned my return business. Thanks for a great day guys!
