I got Tori Hassoun’s flash of Trixie Mattel and I’m so beyond happy with how she turned out. Tori took so much time making sure I was comfortable and making the tattoo the absolute best it could be. Very rude and sub par work. Went for my friend to get his tattoo and the owner is stuck up and a poser. She acts like she knows things about certain genres and Japanese culture but does not and as a Japanese male, I actually find it offensive. The line work was crooked as well. For the amount they charge, you would be very smart to go to a better and more experienced artist.

It's been 15 years since my last tattoo and 5 years since I've wanted the design I chose, and let me tell you, Tannis and ALL other staff members at Black Rabbit were WELL worth the wait! She took time to resize the stencil and provided helpful guidance on placement. I got my first ever tattoo at Black Rabbit in Sept 2022 with Ruth. I did months of research to find the best shop and artists for my vision, and drove 3 hours from Maryland for a 1/2 sleeve. I came in with a hand drawn design a friend made that Ruth amazingly made her own. The entire experience was extremely positive. The atmosphere of the shop is my dream setting- bright colors and anime everywhere. Ruth was a joy to work with and I’ve gotten 3 additional pieces from her since and I love all three. I highly recommend this shop to anyone that’s interested in this vibe and art style.

Had the pleasure of having Raigan for a walk in tattoo with 2 other friends. We arrived roughly 10 minutes after opening and there was a line already which is to be expected. People at the front were so welcoming and helpful to ensure you leave with something with one of the artist. Atmosphere is superior to other shops considering this is open to all types of people and judgement free. Shop is surrounded by so many unique pictures and art. Raigan was super helpful in giving advise to the reference you give her plus getting a exact feel for how you want your tattoo done. Super sweet, patient, and makes you feel comfortable. We all had a great first experience here and booked 2nd appointments before we left! Recommend to anyone who is looking for a tattoo

Called in at 12:30 to confirm they were doing walk ins for the day. I had driven from Charlottesville to learn that walk ins are only for hour long pieces.
