Ron is one of the best Tattoo artist I’ve even met! I’m from Rio de Janeiro - Brazil 🇧🇷living in Wenatchee WA. I don’t regret traveling 3 hours to have my Tattoo done with him. You can see he’s artist when he doesn’t “copy & paste” a draw (unless you want this him) I’m very open for suggestions and also to have something unique. And after I draw my own tattoo, Ron come with lots of suggestions that I took many of then. The result? Check below. I have been going to Ron and Jen every two weeks, for a little over a year now and wow. I now have beautiful sleeve arms and am amazed everyday I wake up and see my tattoos. The experience here really is special. The studio is warm, cozy and private. Having great music makes it so inviting and comfortable. Very professional and super clean. Ron is so creative and talented-trust him. He is very good at placement and the most beautiful fine line work you will ever see. Jen is so sweet and professional and always gets back to me about consultations and scheduling. I will probably keep going back until I run out of skin! I went to Ron Lemay about a month ago for my first arm tattoo and he did an amazing job. The lines are so fine and detailed and I am headed back this weekend for the color. See update at bottom... Ron is a fantastic artist. His studio is professional, clean, and perfect for a more personal experience as he works. I just finished my first appointment with him and my piece came out with crisp, clear lines, perfect shading and beautiful colors. I simply handed him a concept and he did the rest. The result was amazing! I will definitely be a repeat customer! Update: I went back to see Ron for another tattoo. We had a consult on 03/11/20 and I handed him many different pictures, doodles, and ideas to work with for the idea I had. He said he could work with them and we made an appointment. But because of Covid19, we had to push it several months out to Friday, 07/10/20. On Wednesday, 07/08/20, his wife (?) secretary (?) called to confirm the Friday appointment. On Thursday, 07/09/20, I got a text (not a phone call) from Ron (less than 24 hours from my appointment the next day). He said "this is not how I tattoo, I'm going to pass on this one. I only do artistic custom tattoos which I get 100% artistic freedom". I was extremely disappointed. He not only had since our consult in MARCH to say this, but their shop was temporarily down due to Covid19. So he had beyond plenty of time to review his appointments. Yet he cancelled via text less than 24 hours away from an appointment I'd been waiting four months for. I'm not going to be unfair and rate 1 star because I know he's talented. I was just very disappointed in how he handled that in an unprofessional manner. Not to mention that a PAYING customer wants what THEY paid for. If you want people to pay you for a surprise ink day, you should probably advertise that that's what you're all about. Last thing you should be doing is stringing along your customers for four months then dumping them when they get within 24 hours of their goal. Ron, please attempt to do better. Your way hurts feelings and creates disappointments.
