I waited a long time to get my first tattoo. My research lead me to 1001 Troubles. All the reviews I read were absolutely true. The studio was clean and inviting. The staff was warm and welcoming. Charity did my tattoo. She was able to see my vision and bring it to life. She did an incredible job. You could tell by how meticulous she was being that she truly cared about the final product. It was an absolute pleasure to spend the 3 hours with her.

First time here and I love it. Had to wait quite awhile for my appointment, but it was well worth the wait. When the time finally came I was worried about making my appointment because I was coming from Dallas that day. They were fantastic about giving me some flexibility with the appointment and I didn't have to wait months for a new appointment (or lose my deposit). My tattoo is perfect - Fred did a great job. The place is beyond clean and I was very impressed with their professionalism. I'm very happy and would go back there again in a heartbeat.

As many, many others have said, the artwork these artists put out is top notch.
But beyond that, they all seem like great people. From May answering my emails to Fredd coming in to check on me and Dani.
Dani was so professional and down to earth. We talked most of the 6 hours of my tattoo about tattooing, a certain TV show, and dogs - LOTS of dog talk. Dani would stop tattooing every now and then and just admire her work and laugh. I could tell that she really loves what she does and appreciated all of her customers for trusting her with something permanent on their bodies.
The more I look at my tattoo, the more details I see that Dani put into it. Every time, I see something new that resembles my dogs that I didn’t notice before. I cannot recommend this shop and Dani enough!
Bonus points: Dani recommended a great pizza place to get some food and a drink after my tattoo.

Extremely friendly staff and all are true professionals. While there, you are family. Amazing artistry and even more amazing individuals.
They have a new apprentice Sarah and she is as amazing as the rest of the 1001 troubles family. Go see her and give her the practice so she can be a full time artist. Her books aren't as full as everyone else and she is a great artist. Nothing but live for every one of them.

I had an amazing first tattoo experience with Charity! From start to finish, it was flawless! It being my first ink, I was INCREDIBLY nervous, but charity made the experience so relaxed and client centered. Charity walked me through the entire process and was happy to answer all of my questions. She handled my nerves with patience and kindness, something I didn’t feel at other tattoo shops. The shop atmosphere felt so welcoming and fun. Everyone I interacted with was so genuine. My tattoo came out PERFECTLY!! It was exactly what I dreamed of!
