Devine Street Tattoo

My son and I visited for a consultation on his first tattoo. The art originated in Japan and both his grandfather and I have the tattoo.

A fairly simple piece it has a westernized version as well.

After speaking with one artist and getting his opinion, a second artist advised him to enlarge it to the size of his hand.

A tattoo that size would wrap completely around his forearm.

When my son and I expressed skepticism on enlarging the tattoo the artist copped an attitude and stormed off like a child mumbling under his voice

We got the work done at a different tattoo parlor and it was the size he wanted.

While this tattoo parlor has good reviews in general this one artist has no business working with anyone.

I question any tattoo parlor that would hire this guy. He made no effort to hide his attitude and obviously they put up with it.

Our advice, speak with the artist and if you don't feel comfortable walk away.

As for this tattoo parlor I'm sure the other artists are more professional than this one.

Phenomenal artists in a great atmosphere. 100% satisfied with the work that was put into my piece. I would even say Jonathan went above and beyond my expectation.

I have been going here for 4 years now, I’ve never had the same person twice because I know each of them does amazing work. HOWEVER I had Jimmi today, he not only freehanded 90% of my tattoo, but he made it into something I could’ve never imagined. I absolutely love his work. 3.5 hours and I’m so glad he happens to be the person I got this time and I will now be sticking with him. He is so professional but he still jokes and makes the experience fun. I will definitely start recommending people to him!!

Highly recommend Dave. My husband and I walked in and picked a couple designs off the wall, asked Dave to tweek them a little. He did and both our tattoos came out perfect, he was also very personable and made us laugh quite a bit. We will be back specifically to see Dave. I’ve had a few tattoos done here over the years, but most recently this birth flower tattoo done by Taylor. It was a great experience. He listened to what I wanted and executed perfectly. I’m very happy with the result!!

I've gotten two tattoos from Dave at Devine Street Tattoo and have had a great experience each time. Dave is really nice and does a great job getting the design just right. Definitely recommend.
In regard to COVID measures, everyone was wearing a mask and I was able to be socially distanced. I definitely felt safe during my experience.

I got 2 tattoos from them. They were good. I had an appointment, then they called to reschedule it. I just got a call saying they have to reschedule AGAIN and they forgot to put it in the computer. Lol what are you even doing all day? Super annoying with my friend and our jobs and our schedules. It's like they don't care about anyone else's time. They also increased the price. Trash.

Shannon did a beautiful job and was SO kind! I was nervous but wanted to memorialize my sweet doodle who we lost last week. Izzy is now forever with me wherever I go.

All I’m gonna say is, people have to stop using tattoo artists who don’t care about you, how your piece looks, or how you take care of it. Devine street tattoo does all of that. Not only do they take time to explain the process to people during their first time, but they listen to their clients and give them what they want. They are extremely careful about blood, and take care to keep everything as clean as a doctors office, if not cleaner. Excellent environment with hundreds of different pieces covering the walls that can inspire you, not to mention the personal books filled with ideas and pictures that each artist has. The person working the front desk is always friendly and happy to help with any thing you could need. Both Kyle and Jonathan have done pieces on me, and both are extremely nice and insanely talented. If you go in with and idea, the guys at DST can make it come to life. Even after the tattoo is complete, they make sure to inform you of the proper way to take care of it so it comes out looking it’s best, and will answer questions even WEEKS after your tattoo appointment. All in all, 10000/10 recommend this place for anyone looking to get a tattoo, new or experienced. They do walk ins most days, but it’s always safe to set an appointment for your tat/consultation. Keep up the great work guys!

P.S.- extra points for awesome music taste. They play almost any and every genre you can think of in there!
