Mike does an excellent job. I got my first and now second tattoo from him. He's not shy about letting me know if my idea won't look good (this is excellent because he knows tattoos), and he offers suggests to make sure the ink looks good not only now but ten years from now.

I can not say enough good things about Studio 819. My first experience with Mike was a small double heart tattoo on my left hand. It's cheesy to some but sentimental to me as it represents my two daughters. Mike was very professional and offered advice on color and his own little added touches. My oldest daughter was with me when I got the tattoo and fell in love with the end result.
Towards the end of 2018 our oldest daughter turned 18 and wanted to get a small tattoo on her wrist. When we went to see Mike he was both professional and kind to her and answered all of her questions. This girl is afraid to even look at a needle, talk about blood or veins. It literally makes her skin crawl. She was SO excited when Mike quoted her the price and we made the appointment. Knowing my daughter I told her we would get matching tattoos IF she didn't chicken out. We ended up getting matching tattoos in the same spot on our wrist. Another great experience.
I'm attaching a photo of the third tattoo Mike did just last week. It is a cover-up of a very old and faded dandelion. It was yellow and green and black. A real dandelion and not the “standard” dandelion weeds you see everywhere. I am a military brat and it meant a lot to me but was old and faded. I knew it would be a difficult piece to cover-up but Mike did another fantastic job. It did hurt to set through the session but Mike and the guys kept me laughing and talking which helped a great deal.
One thing I loved is how cool they were with my kids. They treated me, my husband and our teen girls with respect. It's a tattoo parlor and language is not the same as it would be in a church or library NOR should it be expected to be. When my oldest had questions and showed concern about the pain he was honest. He was a rock star with her. That speaks volumes...beyond volumes.

Me and my friend just had a tattoo done by Mike. Honestly it was the best experience I have ever had. He was so polite, helpful, and patient. Our tattoos look amazing!! This will be where I get the rest of my tattoos done at. I would recommend him to anyone.
