Pig Pen is AMAZING! He is a professional that offers quality work and an overall good man with heart and high quality work and character. I had a challenging tattoo request that he was able to create and execute beautifully and quickly. He cares about his patrons and the work that he performs. I highly recommend him and will be coming back in the future.

Pig pen did my tattoo and I was beyond happy with my tattoo and my whole experience. He was insanely detailed and precise on my tattoo. He wasn’t heavy handed at all so it wasn’t even painful. He was an awesome person and had great customer service. I’m a life long customer from this point on!

Clifton was wonderful. I came in the day before the anniversary of my puppies death with an idea of what I wanted ... by the end of the next day! He worked with me during the evening, drawing & redoing the design until we had it just right, and since time was critical he even made an exception to regular business hours just so I could do this on the anniversary of when she passed. He was kind, fun to talk with, very professional, and did BEAUTIFUL work! He got exactly what I was wanting! <3

This is long but please read before you consider getting your piercing here. There are pros and cons but overall, I was very unsatisfied after my visit here.
My friend and I went in for some naval piercings on May 6 or so. We were so excited and really new to body piercings so we really didn’t know what we were getting into. Piercer was super nice and answered messages quickly but didn’t really explain anything to us about aftercare so we just simply asked other who had naval piercings and did what they did. Here’s where it gets bad:

1) piercer cleaned us with germ-x...enough said there. We should have made her go back in with alcohol but didn’t want to be rude.
2) the needle wouldn’t even go through on either of us so instead of restarting, piercer tried to shove the needle through and popped the clamp off of both of us from pushing so hard. No big deal, things happen. But it was pretty traumatic for us in all honesty and I would have preferred if piercer had just realigned/restarted.
3) We both were pierced so crooked and there definitely wasn’t enough skin for my piercing at all. 2 months later and the skin surrounding my piercing was so thin that it couldn’t even hold my piercing right.
4) not even sure if we were cleaned after the piercing. Just wiped with a paper towel for the bleeding and still bled a ton after the piercing.
5) my friend’s naval piercing RIPPED from cleaning it. The skin around her piercing was ridiculously thin and all she did was move it up to clean the bar and then BOOM...it ripped. It wasn’t rejecting or anything at all and we even got a second opinion from another piercer.
6) the piercing wasn’t even through my belly button. It was way on top of my belly button so it didn’t even look right to me or to other piercers.

Overall, this was a very traumatic and unsatisfying trip to get a piercing. I gave my piercing plenty of time before I sadly chose to take it out and get it redone somewhere else once it has healed. I wanted to give the piercer the benefit of the doubt because clearly I’m not trained to perform piercings but I honestly think the piercer needs a little more training or maybe just needs to take more time on the piercings. Instead of walking out with a beautiful piercing that I could enjoy, it was a pain in the butt and really just a waste of money. I would rather have a ridiculous amount of time for a piercing than a whole 10 minutes with it ending up looking how mine did. I loved this piercing with my entire being and it killed me to have to write this review, as I don’t like to be rude at all. But I want whoever is reading this to understand what I went through to try and save a piercing that was done incorrectly from the start. The piercer was super sweet though, so no hate at all. But I just think the piercer needs more training...

I had gotten 7 tattoos from this guy back to back last summer around this time. The art is good but needs touched up. I had tried to contact him for touch ups 2 different times with months separated incase he was busy. No reply back. Now 1 yr lear later. I have been patient and tried to be on his time knowing he is the only tattoo shop here. But if you want tattoos and a touch up for the just incase this isn't the place. Who's going to pay alot of money for half done work? He could've atleast replied back but that was a negative. Drive to either murfreesboro or nashville to get work done atleast they do touch ups.

Got a tattoo done on my forearm and he did a EXCELLENT JOB I COULD NOT BE MORE SATISFIED WITH THE WORK!! THANK YOU SO MUCH. PIGPEN!😃💞
