I absolutely enjoyed my time at the studio today. As a new client here, I was a little nervous to sit for my time, but that was quickly changed. Rylee is not only an awesome artist, but she’s kind and extremely welcoming. All of the artists are extremely welcoming and make you feel like part of their family. Lots of laughs followed by an amazing piece of art that I’ll have forever. I will most definitely return for more tattoos! Thank you for an awesome time, Rylee!

If you're looking for an artist that specializes in realistic tattoos, look no further. Chris is a master with realistic 3D tattoos. It took him 2.5 hours to create a very realistic scorpion, the size of dinner plate, on my upper back. All the compliments I have received state that it looks like an actual living scorpion is on my back. I will continue to take my tattoo ideas for future projects to Chris.

Rylee was beyond amazing. She was super friendly and I truly enjoyed talking with her during the tattoo. I gave her and idea of what I wanted and when she had drawn it up better than I could have ever imagined. She is the best and I will definitely become a regular with her. All around the whole experience was great, shop was clean and the other employees were quite entertaining. If you’re willing to spend money on something you won’t regret or tired of walking in to sketchy shops I recommend coming here.

Awesome customer service! Felt welcomed immediately from the consultation all the way down to the tattoo session. Mike Hamill Jr does awesome work, and is versatile in Every style and aspect of tattooing. I recommend these guys and this shop very very highly! As a customer you will not be disappointed.

When I came to get my first tattoo I had showed TJ the outline and because I wanted it petty small he explained to be that over time the sharpness I wanted would fade, so he drew one up that was even better than my original outline! After my tattoo was finished he put a clear bandage on it, and even did the same for my friend who had gotten a tattoo an hour prior at a different shop that didn't wrap hers. Great first experience and would definitely recommend it.

First time coming here and Justin did such an AMAZING job! I showed him a picture and he made it his own and made it more my style, very happy with the service, cleanliness, and the tattoo! My first watercolor and I love it! Would definitely recommended and return! 🙌🏾🙌🏾

After extensive tattoo artist and shop research, I chose to go to Legacy Arts Tattoo Studio #2 off Midway in Dallas. It was quite a drive from my home, but I really wanted a good custom tattoo. My husband and I were both wanting new ink. He wanted a realistic piece, but mine was more abstract. We explored portfolios from the artists from the shop, (all are amazing in their own right) and chose Chris Benavides. Chris’ portfolio was diverse enough to accommodate both of our art requests. His artwork shows a wide range of talent and abilities. We scheduled an appointment to meet and begin work with Chris.

When we arrived to the shop, we were greeted by a Professional staff. I was thrilled to see how clean and sanitary the environment was. One thing that stood out to me about this shop was all the artist artwork on the walls. Each artist had personal artwork hanging in their work space. It was like walking into an art gallery. In my opinion, that is a dedication to the arts, not just a method.

We had talked with Chris many times prior to meeting at the shop. He was really good about responding to our questions. Chris was super friendly and knowledgeable, which put us at ease. Aside from his well refined technique, I was extremely impressed by his attention to aesthetic details. For example, if he doesn’t think placement is exactly right, he will completely re-work the placement. Not quite right is not good enough to him, and I really appreciated that he was not trying to rush through everything. Our experience was so good, we scheduled a 2nd round of new ink. The following week, Chris created a badass watch for my husband, and worked on my a new abstract piece for me.

I have had tattoos for years, but these that Chris did have gotten the most attention. In the span of 2 hours, I was asked repeatedly where I got my tattoo(s). I was really proud to be able to recommend Chris and the Legacy Arts Tattoo Studio #2 to anyone who asked. I went there wanting a good custom tattoo, and left with amazing custom artwork. I was lucky enough to get an appointment with Mike Hamill Jr. at the tattoo convention in Killeen this year. He was all around just a really nice guy. Amazing work. I'm in love with my piece! I get compliments all the time. :) Thanks Mike!

Mike is amazing! Very personable. Awesome with color and line work. It's taken me 4 years to find a tattoo artist I was willing to trust and I couldn't be happier I finally found him. Hes currently working on my Arizona/Texas sleeve and I'm in love with how it's turning out!
