Restorative Tattooing

I came in with a unique request and we thoroughly discussed the size, shape, color, and placement of my tattoos before starting. My tattoos have come up in many conversations because of how natural they look. Marie is incredibly talented and listens to the needs of those she tattoos. I've recommended her to many friends. 5/5 stars! You rock, Marie!

I waited a long time to get my tattoo after my mastectomy. I wanted to make sure I found the right person - and Maria was that person. My tattoo looks so natural you can't tell it isn't the real one. In fact, when my primary care doctor (who had also had a mastectomy) saw it, she was so impressed, she kept bring other people in the office to see my "work of art".
But I think the important thing is the way I feel - and that is normal. Maria's finishing touch means that I can go about my life feeling confident, feeling like a woman, and completely put the past challenges of cancer behind me.

Maria was wonderful, I lost both my breast in 2014 to cancer. I ended up with a really bad infection lost the right implant 3 months later. So when I was finally ready to be whole again I got on line and read about Maria. We had a great phone conversation and set the appointment. I was a little nervous going in however that went away the minute we shook hands. My tats look amazing. I stood up looked in the mirror and cried for the first time in over two years I felt like a woman again. I can't thank her enough for the job she did.

Marie is a kind, compassionate, and talented artist who uses her artistic gift to help give women back a part of themselves cancer stole. From the moment I walked into her studio, I felt welcomed and comfortable, and the work she did is phenomenal. It is absolutely realistic. I am so glad I found Marie and Dallas Medical Tattoo.

OMG! Marie WAS WONDERFUL!!! The whole experience of having my areola tattooed from beginning to end was outstanding. She took her time explained the process with me, helped me with the insurance forms and the actual procedure was wonderful. Being a breast cancer survivor of 9 years I hesitated for a while to get my areolas done out if fear it would hurt like hell. It was hard to find someone that would actually do the tattoos, but once I saw the coverage for Marie on the news I was convinced I was ready to have it done and she made it very easy and painless. PLEASE, visit with her for ANY tattooing you're thinking about doing.

Marie was wonderful. Marie provided tattooing as part of my reconstruction after breast surgery. She made me feel comfortable and did an excellent job, very realistic.

I am a breat cancer survivor and saw the new story on channel 5 about Maria. I had no desire to get a tatoo but after visiting with Maria she was so thoughful and professional. I had no apprehension in getting my tatoos. I never knew this kind of talent existed, she is gifted and my tats look so real. If you are a breast cancer, or just want a tat shes the BEST in DFW. Her office is really cool too.

I learned about Marie from a television news story. I had relocated to Texas and was delighted to hear her story and her compassion for women like me. Even though I don't feel I identify by my breasts, there was still something missing when I looked in the mirror. All I could see was the ugly scars. Marie tattoo'd 3D areola and nipples for me about a year ago. When she handed me the mirror to view the results of her artistry, I took it with trepidation. I remembered the plastic surgeon showing me "after" pictures--and my reconstructed breasts did not look like those. I cried at how I now saw breasts and not scars. I hugged Marie, and I thank God every day that he blessed her with compassion and talent. My sister and my daughters were amazed at her artistry--so much so, that they wanted to touch the areola and nipple to feel it cause it looked so real. Marie is an angel for women like us.

Sadly, I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. After chemo, radiation & several surgeries, I was declared cancer free! I love & appreciate my body. I was striving for health & total wellness. After living with my reconstructed breasts for a while, I realized I still needed closure. A friend contacted me about 3D aerola tattooing. She'd seen an article on the subject & thought I'd be interested. I followed up with the article & found Marie Sena. Marie was well spoken & knowledgeable. She sent me to a link on her website that allowed me to see tattooes she'd done on other women & especially 3D aerola tattooes. Marie's work is transforming. She takes something that could be disfiguring & turns it into something that helps to bring peace & joy.

2005 breast cancer survivor, after several reconstructed surgeries and a faded areola tattoo that I left alone for several years... I decided to revisit it again and searched online for someone who could re-do my tattoo.... I discovered Marie in an online news article about 3D tattoos for breast cancer survivors when I was searching ... I saw some of her work and was so intrigued about the 3D tattoo procedure that I had to give her a call... I wish I found her much sooner, because I was so self conscious about my breast for so long... the 3D tattoo made a huge difference... now I don't dwell on that issue about my breast anymore... it's like a weight has been lifted...I'm not feeling depressed about it anymore... I'm VERY happy with results... I feel 'normal' again!!! 😃
