Lizards Ink Tattoo and piercing, Denton, tx

AMAZING!! The girl at the front desk was very nice. The nose piercing was very quick and painless. The lady who did the piercing was very nice and professional.Overall I would 100% recommend to anyone who want to get a piercing!!❤️

Came in with a friend to get our septums pierced. We have both had our septums pierced before, and knew how it would feel and how it should go down. This was not our first choice, we wanted to go to Ace’s, because they’re piercers are incredible and have always done very well for us. But they weren’t available, so we went here instead.
I asked if they had any other jewelry there besides the silver septum they showed us, because I wanted a different type of metal to match my nostril piercing, but they said they didn’t have anything else, which should’ve been a red flag, but I didn’t want to back out for my friends sake.
It costed us 60$ and we had to tip before the service, which doesn’t make much sense given the service we did receive. My friend got hers done first, and the piercer, Shavon, pierced straight through her septum and pierced her nostril straight through as well! She said that my friend moved her head slightly, but I was right there watching and she absolutely didn’t. Even if she did, it’s a piercers job to make sure their clients piercing gets done correctly. She just said oops and moved on, no refund, nothing to help fix the extra bleeding hole in her nose, but my friend is too polite and shy to speak up, so nothing came of it.
It didn’t click until I talked to friends after the piercing that this was not okay, and I ended up getting my septum done after that. I thought mine was done fine, barely any pain and though she didn’t mark the holes to pierce which seemed weird, and dropped the ball a few times, I didn’t have any complaints, it looks good, but literally the morning after the piercing, after cleaning it carefully with saline the night before, it was already in intense pain, and when I went to clean it it had yellow/green pus coming from it. I have 8 piercings, and I take very good care of them, I have never had such an instant infection like this. Although it could have been something that happened post piercing, I really didn’t touch it or interact with it other than cleaning it with a qtip and saline a few hours later. I don’t want to blame it on the shop, but given the unprofessionalism we experienced, I think the infection couldve started there, I’ve just never had an infection happen that fast after a piercing.
I wouldn’t recommend going here, the people were very nice and friendly, but I don’t think the service is good quality and there’s definitely a lot that could be changed to provide a better experience.

Very professional and clean establishment. Macy was amazing at listening to my ideas and turning them into beautiful tattoo designs. Can't wait to use them again for my future tattoos!

Spontaneous girls day out to get further piercings. Walked in the lady behind counter was a bit rude and seemed put off that we were there. Went thru the process filling out forms and presenting ID. Never offered information on pricing or ear ring options. I had to ask the prices for our lobes and cartilage. As far as ear ring selection we got what was given. The piercer was fantastic with our various piercings. 5 out of 5 for her. She was wonderful. Overall experience fell short due to the customer service or lack of when you first walk in and met your with 0 personality behind the counter. 😞

Went in on my birthday Dec 17, the piercing was clean and efficient and it is healing well, however, I was misgendered multiple times by the piercer. So perhaps if they asked pronouns that would be cool considering I have a beard I am not sure why she kept calling me a “she”

I’ve had two pieces done here now. Did a black and grey dragon and skull on back and now a eagle and snake American traditional on my arm. Both by Macy. She’s phenomenal. I now I live 1.5 hours away and drive to have her do my tattoos. The shop is cool and the staff is great. I highly recommend this shop over any other.

I went today for a consultation. Best customer service. I will be back to get my tattoo.

BEST PIERCING EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!!! I wish I could remember the girls name but she was so comforting and honest about everything. I went to get my septum done and had gone to a different shop prior where they told me I didn’t have a “sweet spot” and I wanted a second opinion. She told me I did and that it might be crooked but it was up to me. I decided to do it and I’m SO GLAD I did. I usually have a hard time with my piercings (faintness, dizziness, nausea) and nothing happened this time! Very quick and professional and I will be coming back!

Macy is amazing!! I go to her for the best ink work in Denton. Super sweet and professional. Absolutely satisfied with her customers service and my tattoos. I won't be going to anyone else in town SHES THE BEST 🖤🔥

I would recommend this place to friends and family!!! The customer service is great and the tattoo artists are really patient and helpful when it comes to designing a tattoo!! The shop has many different tattoo art styles and that was helpful when I came in not entirely sure about what I wanted !! Josey, (the short receptionist with long black hair and blue glasses)was really informative and friendly when I was confused and curious about the services the shop provided, gave really great insight about the piercing they provided!!
