Tomi (thejewthattatoos) is by far one of my favorite tattoo artists. I have been to several artists and she makes me feel right at home every time. I have gotten more compliments on my piece by her (a sleeve in progress) than any piece I have. It’s fun to just chat with her and pass the time and before you know it you’re done and have awesome new ink! So stoked to keep working on the rest of my sleeve with her! Ask for Tomi, seriously you will not regret it!

Showed up for a walk-in on a Sunday afternoon and was greeted by Tomi & Steve-O (both super nice!), and after a few minutes of me fumbling through my explanation of what I wanted, they determined that Sierra would actually be best-suited for the piece I had in mind. After a quick consultation with Sierra, she gave me an idea of what the price would be for the size I’d given, then went back and whipped up a design for me. She came and got me from the waiting room and when we got back to her chair she had TWO stencils prepared—one that was the size I’d said and one was a little larger. Immediately I knew the larger one was what I wanted and she was kind enough to mention that the price would be a little bit more for the larger size, which was not a problem at all… 1) because the price was still quite reasonable, and 2) the artwork was beautiful and I wanted it as large as possible.
The tattoo experience itself was a piece of cake, and almost literally painless. Sierra’s bedside manner was top notch and we were able to pretty much just shoot the breeze throughout the entire process. She was attentive and would check in with me to see how I was doing periodically, which was nice. She was not heavy-handed at all which meant that the discomfort was minimal. My piece was a black & grey fine line geometric floral design and I couldn’t be more pleased with how it turned out. I’d give 10 stars if I could.
I went to several shops that day trying to be seen for a walk-in session, but Sleepy Hollow Tattoos was the only one that said they had walk-in availability and actually meant it. No disrespect to the previous shops I went to that day which I won’t name here; walk-ins are first come / first served, and I hadn’t done a great job giving an elevator pitch of what I wanted, so I was being told to book an appointment. That makes perfect sense in hindsight but it did feel a little bit like the other shops were passing the buck rather than helping guide me through the process. Again, no disrespect, but I didn’t really feel welcome at those places like I did here.
So, while it wasn’t my first choice because I started my search with shops geographically closer to me—now Sleepy Hollow Tattoos will be my first stop for every one of my next pieces. They made me feel welcome the entire time, and that level of inclusivity meant so much to me since it’d been over a decade since my last real tattoo. My wife and I will definitely be coming back!
If you’ve read all of this, just do yourself a favor and go to this shop. You will not regret it.

Heard about this place from a friend so I went in to find an artist I liked. Eddy G’s work caught my eye, so I gave him a reference photo and couldn’t be happier with the work he did. He is awesome and I will continue going back to him! I highly recommend this shop in general. Great vibes all around and very clean and professional.
