This was my first time coming here, and I'll definitely be back! Robert Wingo was my artist and he couldn't have made me feel more comfortable (aside from the obvious standard pain that comes with getting a tattoo). Staff was incredibly nice and chill. My tattoo came out beautifully, I am very pleased.

I had only 2 prior small tattoos and first was in 1991. Had one under 3 yrs ago on forearm that I am having it removed. Was thinking to get covered up but both owner and Rikki stated I would not just be able to cover up a black tattoo with other colors. Long story short ended up getting three tattoos from Rikki in 3 days. Even thought I had gone crazy!

He is really proffesional and was honest and way more enjoyable than I thought possible. Third one I got was way bigger than I thought I would ever get but was needed to cover up nearly 30 yr old tattoo. I have nothing but praise for Rikki as an artist. One of the drawings I had sent him he made few personal changes to it and turned out better than my expectations. I will recommend this place and Rikki to ANYONE who is looking to get a tattoo in this area.
Also his music while getting worked on is special!😃

Steel Paintbrush is definitely the place to go for getting ink done the shop is always clean and the staff are very knowledgeable and freindly. Dennis has been working on my sleeve from the beginning as well as a few other tattoos and I have absolutely no complaints hes does awesome work and takes the time to listen to you and goes over everything well in advance of getting the work done. My wife and a buddy of mine has also had work done by Dennis and they are both extremely happy with the work. We highly recommend them!!

I just got my first tattoo today. I had the pleasure of working with Robert. He was very nice and helped ease me into the whole process. I can gladly say the whole ordeal was very pleasant; if I decide that I will want more in the future, I will definitely come back.

Professional, friendly and extremely talented tattoo artists! The environment is friendly and welcoming. I felt completely comfortable here, the artists were so much fun and did a fantastic job on my tattoos as well as my husbands. We will definitely be returning!

Edit to response: Instead of asking probing questions to help YOU, you kept telling me to come in which I'd already explained I can't do. So...

I'm sure their work is good as they were recommended to me by 3 different people. However if you can't give someone an estimate, even to say it'll start at this price, based off exact information they're giving you then it sounds like you just want people to come in so you can talk them into things. No thank you.

I have 4 tattoos and my previous place I was always able to email them details and they'd give me a starting point if anything. I've moved so I was looking for someone closer, but I'd rather drive back the 2 hours to get what I need.

Dennis is quite the artist. He painted my first two tattoos and he was amazing. Patient, confident and outstanding demeanor. He walked me through the entire process making me feel at ease. Great attention to detail so I will certainly be back again and again. Thank you Dennis. Simply outstanding experience.

Chris is the actual best. I came in with a dinky drawing I found on the internet that same day and he told me no, he didn't want to do it. This was hard for me to hear because I was set on getting the tattoo on that date in specific, but I've had tattoos removed so I knew he was right. He told me to think about what I really wanted on my body and we ended up scheduling for 2 weeks later. He drew a tattoo that I love and will love for the rest of my life, and then he drew some more. Currently we are 2/3 done with a back piece that came out of that first session. I am proud of my tattoos now and I still trust Chris to tell me when something won't look good. I will never think of tattooing the same way. I am forever thankful for that day 8 months ago when Chris changed the pattern I didn't even realize I was stuck in by caring enough about a complete stranger enough to say no. If you are looking for the best ask for Chris. If you are nice he might even agree to make some beautiful and worth while art on your body.

Amazing experience. I came in for my first tattoo. Robert was my artist. I came in wanting my dads handwriting from the last couple of cards that were given to me before he passed away. I got the tattoo on the back of my left shoulder. Robert literally made it look like my dad wrote on my skin. I could not have asked for a more perfect experience. I cannot thank him enough for this. When I am ready for my second tattoo, I will definitely come back and see Robert.

I love this place. Nothing but top notch work. I've gotten tattoos from Dennis, Chris, and Rikki and I could not be more pleased. They are very professional, clean and today Rikki did my favorite tattoo so far (thanks again).
