This review is of Stormie, the HBIC of Houston Body Piercing in Bayou City Body Shop, specifically.
Stormie is legit. Prompt, personable, professional piercer.
From when I walked into the shop til I walked out, Stormie was straightforward, kind, and made sure I knew what was going on. She actually did that for everyone in the studio - four or so people walked in while I was there, and Stormie greeted all of them, handled client paperwork and phone calls without getting distracted, and quickly made sure everyone was attended to without making anyone feel rushed.
I had three piercings I hadn’t worn jewelry in for several months (my septum and my second piercing on both lobes) that she tapered, and I additionally got a third piercing on both ears, and a new daith piercing. That’s a lot of holes poked in one sitting.
Stormie continually checked in on how I was doing, offered placement suggestions without being pushy, told me what was happening next, and reminded me to keep breathing when my septum piercing was feeling spicy.
I’m looking forward to going back for more piercings and would recommend them to anyone looking for a solid piercer in Houston.
