We accept walk-ins for tattoos Tuesday-Saturday 2-8pm upon request, so please give us a call before you make the decision to come in. Let us discuss getting you in. We have been conducting business for 12 years in north west Austin area. Professional yet cozy energy filled environment, with Fine Artists as the owner’s and also the Only two Resident artists. We expect our clients to walk away with a piece of art that is way beyond the “expected” final product. We design in the presence of our clients in order to combine both visions to create the perfect piece of fine art, that we then turn immediately into permanent art on your body."

They were great with my daughter. She was nervous about getting her ears pierced and moved when he did the second ear so he had to do it again but it was still a great experience. He explained everything to her and told her the things she should and should not do while they are healing. Very reasonable prices on jewelry as well.

And secondly they always seem to find another tattoo to get because they love this place so much. I recently got my nose pierced here, when it came time to switch my stud, I was having major challenges. They helped me on the fly and out of the goodness of their heart. Next is a tattoo!

Went in for David’s January special on permanent makeup. Years ago I had my eyebrows microbladed somewhere else, and they had turned a weird color and faded. I was a little nervous, but David turned out to be an amazing permanent makeup artist, made me feel right at home and super relaxed, and the process was almost painless and completely fast! I’m amazed...Not only are they the perfect color shade that compliments my hair and skin tone, but the shape and natural “hair strokes” look 100% real! He is amazing and I will be back for eyeliner and regular touch ups, even after I move I’ll drive back for his work. David at American Gypsy should be your only go-to for this kind of work. LOVE LOVE LOVE this place!! I recommend it to everyone I know. David (the owner) is the one who did my tattoo and couldn't have done a more perfect job! Love the atmosphere and the genuine talent of this place. Freedom tattoos used to be in this building, and it sucks that AG is there because not many people know it has changed. The old tattoo shop that used to be there made that buildings' rep pretty bad but I think with time AG can quickly change that now.. I strongly suggest this place!!!

Came here with my wife on short notice for Roman numeral tattoo on our ring fingers. Other places tried to charge us 100 bucks each because hands heal differently. The couple that works here are friendly, professional and created a relaxing environment for us. My wife really liked that they were gentle on her hand as some artists you feel like they’re digging into the skin. Got our Roman numerals tattoos and my wife’s name on my neck for an affordable price. We will definitely be back for more work!!
