Got my tattoo done a little while ago, but Daniel is one of the coolest and nicest (as well as super talented) tattoo artists. The shop is clean, bright, and full of cool Japanese artwork so I never felt like I was in a dungeon, which is great for me at least. So cool, so patient, so recommend. 10/10

I got 7 tattoos over a 2 year span from Daniel, his work and dedication that go into his craft is simply amazing. I'll give him a placement and idea that he runs wild with it. He is honest with his feedback and always has great judgement on getting the piece you want.
He is really talented in a lot of styles, I really prefer his japanese style art because thats my vibe.
Finally, Elise is such a sweetheart that makes the shop feel so welcoming by her positive vibe. If you are new to tattoos, dont feel overwhelmed they are an amazing power couple that will help you figure out what works for your situation. I'll definitely be back to get more pieces done.

Daniel and Elise are great people and artist. It is very very VERY rare to find such a high class clean tattoo shop right off a military base. I’ve been to numerous tattoo shops around the country and Yokai is top tier. Daniel is a world class tattoo artist with some of the best Japanese style tats I’ve ever seen, Elise (Daniels apprentice) is EXTREMELY talented, I’ve gotten 2 tattoos from her, both times I gave her an idea at let her run with it; lines were crisp bold and solid, shading was clean, breathable and dark, colors were packed in and well saturated. The shop is clean well lite and has a great vibe. There’s flash from numerous artist on the walls collections of books to look through for you’re next tattoo idea. If you are nervous or scarred about going into a tattoo shop because it seems intimidating, this is not that shop I promise you, from the layout of the space to the music they play you will feel totally relaxed and be in good hands. It’s pretty simple, if you live in Killeen or the Fort hood area or even if you are just passing thru, if you want to get a good solid tat this is the place to be.

Let me start off by saying that I don’t leave reviews usually because grammar is not my strong suit but I had to after the best tattooing experience I have ever had in my life the couple working here who own this place are the friendliest and caring people I have met while getting tattoos I am so impressed with how invited and friendly they are I have been so blessed to have met these friendly folks and will keep my tattoo business here for the rest of my time in Texas I have never in my life been treated like a friend when getting tattooed or even talked for 8 hours while getting tatted but here it’s easy I highly recommend
