Went in for a few piercings and had a great experience! Staff and Sonny are friendly & profesional. The shop is cool and clean, which made me choose this place for my piercings. Clan and sanitized tools as well as the work area. Highly recommend I will be returning. Fun fact, first smoke shop in midland est1999 keep it up!

AMAZING service and staff!!!! I have always had a good experience at Uprock with my piercings, but the tattoo experience COMPLETELY exceeded my expectations! Richard was very attentive and had a light hand with his work! Richard is very detail oriented and delivered a BEAUTIFUL sunflower piece on my thigh, (I will post a picture when it is complete.) My mom and I laughed and joked with the staff throughout the entire experience and we were never bored. An amazing first tattoo experience! Can't wait to finish the piece! Highly recommend Uprock and would never go anywhere else!

Richard Lopez worked on a tattoo of mine and did GREAT. He was light handed and with the tattoo being on the neck, im grateful for that. He chatted with me during my session & was so kind. The entire staff was so nice and welcoming. Would be glad to go back for future work!

Make sure you ask to see the drawing of the tattoo before you get one because if you don’t like it they will keep your money. This place charged me 200$ and it took 45 mins to draw, I was the only customer there .IT WAS A BASIC HEART !! I got it done down the street and the artist charged me after. Only took 15 mins to get me in and they were packed ! Much better customer service as well.

First I'd like to say that this shop is very clean, bright, and welcoming. The owner and staff are very friendly! I met with Richard and inquired about a very special (to me) tattoo. He was so kind, took his time, and made sure I got just what I wanted. I will definitely be back for more and will always recommend him and this shop! Best tattoo experience ever!

Artist was very friendly and applied the perfect amount of pressure for the ideal tattoo result/healing process. The place had a wonderful laid back vibe while maintaining complete professionalism. (Both at once being a rare thing to encounter.) I'm definitely going to return for more tattoos and piercings in the future!

We took my 7 yr old niece in to get her ears pierced, and she panicked and started to back out the moment we walked in. The staff was super nice and patient with her. They let her come and watch me get my ears pierced. When it was her turn she started panicking again, but once again the patience was so great. He talked to her the whole time that she didn’t even know the first ear had been pierced. I highly recommend!!!

We got finger tattoos and everyone knows those are so hard to maintain…but the ink was coming off the same day. A week later half of it had already scratched off. He also did a touch up on a previous tattoo i had in my wrist and completely botched one of the letters…and i loved this tattoo☹️
the front desk person was so sweet and the guy was cool but if his work is a reflection of the place itself…i would NOT recommend.
UPDATE:
One of the artist reached out to me shortly after this review to see if i was interested in letting him try and redeem my finger…and i went for it! Thank goodness I did! Not only did i meet Richard but i met the owner Sonny who was SUPER nice and both made my 2nd experience so worth it!
I recommend going to See either Sonny or Richard for your next tattoos!!! they are so awesome! Im already scheduling for my next 5!

We sure do plan on going back. Sonny was fast and very gentle with his work, you can tell he loves what he does and he cares about each and very Clint. It was my daughter’s first Tattoo and she wanted it to be and look perfect. Our artist was patient and did whatever changes he had to do for us to be satisfied. We were very Satisfied and will see you again!
