Sharky gave a bunch of us memorial tattoos for our mother. First off I wanted to get mom written underneath it. She said it would ruin the tattoo. Secondly this was the first person I’ve ever seen and I have a lot of tattoos that charges more based on placement. I get most artist hate doing small tattoos but we brought in 6 people and have 3+ more who want it.
After getting my tattoo I told her that I wanted to pay for my two sisters. She then told my sisters it was on the house for them but yet charged me the full price and of course lead my sisters in giving her a huge tip. If classic tattoo is going to hire people that treat others like this it will not be a place I’ll wver go again. Since San Marcos is my home town I will also be passing the word around to all my friends and their friends.
Did you not read what I posted?? She told my sisters they were free. So they gave her $120 tip when my sisters found out I paid they were pissed off.

David was great and fast. Daughter went in for her first tattoo and I decided to get one too. In and out in about an hour and at a reasonable price. Will come back again.

I'd get tattooed by any of these artists any time. They are very professional and friendly, and are willing to work with you on custom pieces. The shop is clean and bright. I seriously can't recommend these guys enough.

You want a great tattoo? Ask for Daniel. Got my first one done there with him and it was a great experience. Clean shop, great staff and Daniel is so talented. I'm going back for more now.

The first two tats I got there were great. They were well done and still great looking. The last tat I got there the "artist" seemed distracted. Had to have a couple of smoke breaks. Yes, it took over an hour, but don'the they all. It was not complicated, just deliberate. Took three hours with the breaks.

Jaylind was supposed to complete the other half of my tattoo today, but emailed me at 10:37 pm last night to ask if I could reschedule because she was tired. (She had also already emailed me earlier that night to ask if I could still come in today and I promptly replied that I would be there) When I got the first part done, I told her that the 25th or 26th was the absolute last day I could come in because I travel for work. I was originally supposed to come in for the first part of my tattoo on Feb. 2, but she rescheduled that time too so she could go to Mexico. It didn't really bother me because I thought I had plenty of time, but she's too tired to work today and she knew beforehand that I couldn't come in after today. What am I supposed to do? I work 9 months out of the year primarily outside of Texas. I just don't want her to have any extra portion of my money because she kinda screwed me over, so I asked for my deposit back. She told me I was unprofessional and HOSTILE because I told her that, in this situation, a non-refundable deposit is 'stupid' and that I think that what she did was 'lame'. I just wanted a better solution. She's a good artist, too bad she has such a terrible work ethic.

I got tattoo'd by Sharkey and I have to say I absolutely love it! As well as everyone in the shop. It's a great atmosphere, everyone is super friendly, and the shop is super clean.
I would recommend this shop a million times over. Love love love classic tattoo!

Went and got an awesome tat by Sox. Couldnt be more pleased with my overall experience and great artwork. The shop was very clean and everyone very professional. I would highly reccommend this shop to anybody seriously considering a tattoo.
