The artists specialize in traditional, old school, black and grey, Japanese, fine line and anything else you can dream of. Phil Moskal and Raul Arevalo have 54 years of combined tattooing experience, 27 of those years on S.Padre Island, TX. They both have traveled the US and world to watch, experience and help open new tattoo shops. We regularly have guest artists. Wife and I hit this spot the last day of our vacation for tattoos to remember vacation by. Phil and James (Guzman) were great….. great chat with both of them and they kept it relaxed, fun and chill yet professional. Phil did a great job on my wife’s tattoo (as well as a quick touch up fix on another) and James helped me get all the elements of my tattoo just right based on a variety of photos I brought. Will definitely be back for another tattoo next vacation to SPI!

Went in this past week with my own idea, set my appointment for the next day then left. When I returned for my appointment all I can say is WOW!!!
Phil greeted me and presented me with not only the design I asked for ready to go but in addition with his own artistic design. Wasn’t pushy or trying to talk me into something I didn’t want. I was amazed at the idea and art he designed for me I went with it without a second thought. The time he took to have both ready, in my opinion, speaks volume on how much he cares for his customer and his craft.
When you visit this shop let Phil get creative with you! Not only am I satisfied, I’ll be calling tomorrow to set my next appointment.

Hubby and I got themed tattoos today. They were awesome to work with. They customized them to look how we wanted them to look and did an amazing job. On top of that we just glad an excellent experience. Phil and James were very friendly and great company. Highly recommend.

Phil is the man!!! From the time we walked in til the few days later when we were able to get in the chair, nothing but great vibes! He was able to complete 4 smaller pieces with exquisite attention to detail in less than 2 hours. The work is fantastic, the staff AMAZING and just an all around wonderful experience. Amazing shop! Wife and I both got work done and we couldn’t be happier. We had a family emergency a few days before our appointment and they worked with us to reschedule and make it happen. Good music, excellent artists, and a chill vibe. My wife had her tattoo done by the visiting artist Elmo (black and white, sugar skull alien head) and mine was done by resident artist Jake (full color, American Traditional snake). While I was laying there for 3 hours I can’t even tell you how many walk-in bangers the owner Raul knocked out. They’re all super friendly (including the lady, I’m sorry I forgot your name, who runs their phones and appointment books), do great work, and if we’re ever on The Island again we will absolutely go back. Prices are very fair too. I’d give them more than 5 stars if I could. Thanks for an awesome experience!

I reached out via the booking link on the website on my way to South Padre Island. They were super responsive. I had an appointment booked at 1000 the next day (Phil came in early to meet me). I'm a doctor so infectious disease control is not a game to me, I was pleased with the cleanliness of the shop and the sterile technique of the tattoo artist. The prices were super fair. I would 100% get a second tattoo done by Phil. If you're looking for a reputable shop in South Padre Island, be sure to check them out (especially Phil, he's a gem)!
