Stephen is an amazing artist; I stopped in with little expectation. I found a great artist, and when I went in to get my tattoo done, it was a great experience. Every one there is awesome; they really care. If you're looking for something original by a artist who cares about what you want, I highly reccomend you visit. If you have to wait a little to get your tattoo...it is worth it. You dont have to search all over, we have world class artists right here in Front Royal...

Steven did an amazing job and got me taken care of the same day I dropped in, with a custom design as well. It was my first tattoo and he also helped me with information about after care. Nice building, good prices and friendly staff. Will absolutely return here.

Michael Walker’s business speaks for itself from the moment you walk in the door. The shop is aesthetically pleasing and the staff makes you feel like an old friend. They were all very professional!! Once you meet Michael and see his artwork, you will not go anywhere else. As an added bonus, he takes extra efforts to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you Tried and True!

We walked in and he happened to have a cancellation so he gave me my tattoo. He was so kind and efficient. Super fun and relaxed environment. We loved it. Highly recommend!!!

I got my sons name on my forearm today by Steven. He did a spectacular job. I definitely will be going back to get more work done. The place is very clean and the other artists and staff are very friendly. I will without a doubt recommend this place to my family and friends.

Husband and I went there as walk ins last week. All we wanted was our anniversary date in Roman Numerals. Took nothing for the artist to draw up, was a matter of printing something out on the computer. Each spent 20 min on the table. Artist acted like he didn't want to do it, and was VERY heavy handed with the needle, (have many tattoos.) Never quoted us a price, and in the end, charged us $125 ea which is outrageous for what we wanted. Only giving 2 starts because we got what we wanted, but the experience sucked and the cost was outrageous. Artist was John. Husband often does work in Front Royal. He nor I will be returning.

Steven did phenomenal work. The staff was overall very accommodating and welcoming. Steven was down to earth, amazing artist and truly invested in helping the customer. Thank you Steven for an awesome experience!

Had a not-so-good start with this place (due to a local fire) and was ready to write them off. Megan (front desk) was incredibly nice and Matt Walker not only is super cool, but fit me in the next evening by staying after hours and took his time to do an amazing job.
I now have The Mad Tatter working on my next piece.

Absolutely incredible talent, magnificent craftsmanship and attention to detail. Matt Walker the Master of Ink make the ink come alive and it talks to you. Highly recommend you and once he has done one for you, he'll be the only one to tattoo you ever again.
