I tragically lost my brother in January, and for months I had this vision of how I would like to honor him and my faith. Even though this was my first tattoo, I decided on a full memorial sleeve. From the minute I walked in the door I was taken seriously. I was treated like family and even had a great conversation with Jada & Tommy about my brother. Something that should feel so incredibly intimidating instantly turned into comfort and I knew I chose the right place. The shop is extremely clean & the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming. I chose Garland, and man did I choose right. His enthusiasm, creativity, and emotion give me every bit of confidence that this memorial sleeve is being done right. So far, he has hit it out of the park and I couldn’t be more pleased. I have no intention of dealing with any other shops, because Sandbridge Tattoo has made it every bit of exciting to come back for each session. Highly recommended 🤙🏻

He’s an amazing artist and has done two of my tattoos and I referred my hubby to him as well! My tattoo is amazing and I love it and the staff at Sandbridge Tattoo! Ashton did a great job on my tattoos, I requested a short notice appt and they made it happen no problem. Process was professional, comfortable, and the quality of my tattoos is beyond that of my first one. Will definitely be going back to see him in the future!

Tommy is fantastic. My husband and I are about half way through a half sleeve and a full sleeve and couldn't be happier with the work. Tommy works fast, does amazing work, and really loves what he does. Nothing makes sitting through a tattoo easier than someone who is just as excited about your tattoo as you are and is happy to chat with you while he works. Tommy is personable, immensely talented, and just opened the cleanest and most pleasant shop I've been in. Anyone who wants a tattoo in the Hampton Roads area should stop in for a consultation with him!

When I called for my appointment it was scheduled out a few months. I was impatient the whole time but I knew the artist(mandi) would be worth the wait.
I got two tattoos done with her and I’m very pleased with both of them. I will be returning for her again and she is also a Star Wars fan so I know I’ll be back for my next Star Wars piece!

This is the best tattoo shop I've ever dealt with. From start to finish, the process was easy. I loved being able to submit my request online, with all the details and photos of what I wanted, so that my artist would be able to prepare. Being able to pay the deposit online was convenient, since the shop is out of my way. Making an appointment could not have been easier. After speaking with them, they worked with me and I was able to come in the very next day.
Andre was my artist. From his playlist to his Netflix shows, we had plenty to talk about and he kept me entertained. I have never been more comfortable during a tattoo and it was practically pain-free. It could've been a spa day, as far as I'm concerned. I cannot recommend this shop enough and I couldn't be happier. If you have to travel a bit to get there, believe me when I say that it's totally worth it. As soon as I get the itch for my next tattoo, I will definitely be coming back.

Fantastically wonderful place! Mandi did an amazing job on a best friend tattoo for my friend and myself (duh)! It looks beyond spectacular! The whole experience was great, from being greeted as soon as we walked in right down to the cleanliness of the place. Wonderful service by marvelous people helping to create fantastic memories. Would recommend to everyone looking for equality tattoos and service!
