"My name is Christiaan, I am the owner here at Burning Rock and I have had a passion for art/drawing my entire life! Although I've wanted to be a tattoo artist since I was 15, I finally began my tattoo career in 2013. Being a one man shop means that you get dedicated, professional, and complete care from start to finish with the same artist every time. I have vast experience in all styles of tattooing and I specialize in cover-ups and restorations. I am currently licensed in Washington, Oregon and Hawaii. My shop is insured and up to date on all state requirements. Feel free to call, text, or stop by to chat about your tattoo ideas and see what I can create for you. Christiaan did a great job on mine & my friend's tattoos! This was one of my most comfortable tattoo experiences ever. He's super friendly, can hold conversation during the tattoo which I personally highly appreciate, and was very light handed so my tattoo went by fast and almost painlessly. Definitely recommend and will be returning!

They hamburgers my tattoo. I only had line work and shading. The color on my husband's tattoo came out due to artist going too deep and hamburger it too. I would recommend going to a different place with more experienced artist.

I have gotten several tattoos over the last year from Christiaan. He is professional and he is a great artist. I have a large list of flowers for a sleeve we are working on, I never know what flower comes next because I trust his professional judgment. Christiaan is an awesome artist and his tattoo has amazing detail! I met with him a couple times, sent him an idea what I was looking for, along with some live pictures. He nailed it first sketch, and when made the stencil it was even more detailed! I will defiantly be going back.

Love stand fast. Ran by amazing people and has a great environment. Super clean and friendly. Could sit in there for hours on end and never want to leave. Great work as well. I've gotten two tattoos done by Christian and love them. I will never go anywhere els. Him and his wife are great company and honest people.
