Watched somebody get the rose and skull tattoo. Very clean place of business but this individual artist was exceptionally clean and cautious in regards to COVID-19 happening right now! Overall artist has a very diverse large range of styles he's willing to do."I'm always open to trying things outside my usual comfort zone" he said. Has clean dark deep lines shading blending and use of color is amazing.

Chrome Ohm is a great place. Jamie is fun to hang out with. Chris Hunter is a artist there and he is amazing. He has worked on my husband many time and has worked on me a couple of times. I can't wait to go back. The pictures below are done by Chris Hunter

I got a tattoo in august of 2022, I got tattooed by cedar and I won’t ever recommend anyone to go to this shop, after my tattoo was done we wrapped it with sandiderm and in less then 24 hours I got an infection which led to me getting staph, I did not do anything I wasn’t supposed to, I do hope they can learn more about cleanliness in the future, another thing to note is @monktvchannel who I believe is at this studio now likes to message and talk to fresh 18 year old girls who come into the studio, it is not professional to come onto your clients especially ones that have just turned 18.

I received my first professional tattoo at Capitol hills oldest tattoo shop, Chrome Ohm in '99. For those of you who are finding out where you are going to get tattooed, it is very important in tattooing to know where you came from. Here you will find art and information that has been being passed down by men (and ladies) since the 70's. The history of tattoo here is vast and substantial, not to mention that I always have a great day knowing that soon enough I'll be stopping by to say hello.

Went here to get my hatchet man tattoo long time ago when I was 23. now I don't have more than two tattoos. But this is a great place, Great quality, attention to detail. Also they give you a squeeze ball to squeeze lol. Which I enjoyed when it hits those soft points I plan on coming to visit again here soon. Old-school vibe which I dig.

I wish I could give them MORE stars!! I was in town from Colorado and I called a few days earlier to inquire about doing a walk-in — the owner Jamie (I discovered he was the owner later) was so kind and welcomed me to come by. I have been wanting this tattoo for about two years now and every other parlor I’ve approached in multiple cities has treated me like I’m not good enough for their ink, like what I want isn’t a big enough piece of art for them to care about it or to value me as a customer. It’s odd because all of my other previous tattoos I managed to get from various shops around the U.S. where people were always happy to oblige a smaller job. The industry sure seems to have gotten snobby.

So, with some hesitation I walked in last Saturday. Jamie was there and remembered me from the phone (!) and Laurenn was most luckily (and serendipitously) free and able to help me with my design. I showed her a picture of my horse, an example photo of a tattoo that I liked some elements of and described the style I was hoping for. In just 30m she whipped up what you see here as the final design. I was beyond delighted with her gorgeous drawing. It perfectly captures Arnie without being a busily detailed piece of portrait work and has such beautiful lines to it. I truly could not be more happy and I’m so glad that things never worked out on previous tattoo attempts because I can’t imagine having the work be any different than how Laurenn created it.

Net net - Chrome Ohm is the kind of place you want to spend your money, I assure you. Go support this amazing business and it’s stellar artists.

I got my first 2 tattos done here. That was years ago but I was satisfied with the experience. They weren't the friendliest people I've ever met but I wasn't expecting the greatest customer service considering this is a tattoo parlor. I was happy with the work and the tattoos were a good price. I'd go back.

Sad this place is shutting down, deffinatly going to try and get as many tattooes from Cedar while they are still in town.

Very professional and cool spot! A hidden gem behind Jai Thai I highly recommend. Rachel did mine and was super friendly, quick, and fair. Check it out!
