This place was awesome! They took me in with every short notice, super nice and welcoming. Lord Kelly was my Artist and he did an amazing job. I requested a pretty big piece and was surprised he was able to do what I was asking in the time he had. Lord is really great, super chill and made me feel very comfortable. Took about 1-2 months to hear back as they’re extremely booked up right now, but they’ll definitely get to you! Communicated over text a few days prior to the appointment. We tested out different sized stencils and placement until we found the perfect spot/size.
Tattoo only took about ~1hr. Very steady hands and gentle, my skin appreciated it. He also touched up another tattoo I had for no extra cost, which was awesome. Lines are very clean and blacks are as dark as night. He absolutely killed it.
Overall, an amazing experience and would highly recommend this studio and artist to anyone in need of a tattoo. Be patient if you haven’t heard back from the studio, it’s worth the wait.

My sister and I were looking for a nice tattoo shop to get some ink before she went off to college, and we definitely found the right place. Lord Kelly was perfect, from his cleanliness and technique to his respect and great conversation. He made sure we were comfortable throughout the entire experience. This was only my sister’s second tattoo and my sixth. She absolutely loved the way her tattoo came out. It was difficult placing my spine tattoo precisely, but after multiple attempts, we got it right. I always appreciate a tattoo artist who is patient with their art, and understands the permanence! The healing process was also one of the smoothest I’ve encountered throughout each of my tattoos. 10/10 would recommend!

First tattoo done in Seattle by Cailean , at the Nova Expansion Tattoo shop in Queen Anne. He absolutely nailed what I wanted tattooed (imagined) . Love the shop vibes, such a creative atmosphere to walk into and it is so close to home I can walk there and prices are ideal.
Felt so comfortable the first time that I went back a second time and all ready scheduled an appointment for a third tattoo , done by Cailean himself! Cailean is a chill well rounded dude who I feel like I’ve known for years all ready , super easy to talk to , and welcoming af. I absolutely love my tattoos done by him so far and I am looking forward to getting more done by him and his crew at Nova Expansion!!

My friend and I got tattooed by Lord Kelly a few weeks ago. The shop was very and their set up/take down was sanitary and safe. He was super nice and we had fun conversations while we were getting tattooed. he showed us all of his previous work on his IG: lordscustomink and he has some amazing work.
