Went to see DJ to get two tats recently. He did a great job! One of them was a unique-ish design and he actually cared to ask about it. That may seem like a simple thing but another place I had gone to get a quote was just indifferent to anything I asked or said.

My best friend and I scheduled tats at Artisan's based on some facebook leads. D.J. worked with me via PM for weeks in advance, exchanging pics and ideas - super patient and tolerant. It was my first ink in 20 years and I was really nervous. Walked in, the place was totally clean and cozy. D.J. and Justin were able to get us both done at once, and they were super accommodating. Great service, mellow atmosphere and staff, fast, amazing job, clearly highly experienced, reasonable pricing, and I will definitely go back for my next tat! Great job guys! And double bonus, D.J. gave us a lead on a great place to eat afterward :)

The shop is cute, in a convenient location and VERY clean. I got my very first tattoo at Artisan when I was 18 years old from D.J. 5 years, 10 tattoos later I'm still coming to this shop. I've gotten tattoos from other people/ places a couple of times, but I haven't had the same experience with other shops/ artists. I never feel awkward or uncomfortable. I have been seeing Austin for over two years now, and I don't think I will ever go to anyone else. I always give her some references of things I like, and she always takes my ideas and makes them everything i want and more, while still adding her own creativity into it and I am SO proud to wear her art on my body. I will keep sending people to these guys.
