Awsome group of artist highly recommend to everyone! Stan is our artist and he is the Man! Entire staff is very clear on guidelines and there are no dumb questions they are honest and straight up with you!! If tou haven't went get there you will not regret it!

I got my very first tattoo yesterday and I am still in awe by the experience. This shop is very clean, organized, and helpful. They made this process easy for me and the artist was amazing. I highly recommend Shawn at north Al ink. Shawn, talked me through the process and calmed my nerves. He is a true rockstar and amazing at turning your dream tattoo into reality. I got my septum pierced here in October 2020. I’m not sure the name of the piercer but once she was done the piercing was very obviously crooked. It was pierced diagonally instead of straight and before I was even able to say anything about it she started trying to convince me that one of my nostrils was bigger than the other and that’s why it looked like that. It also never healed correctly and was painful until I removed it after 5 months. The jewelry I was pierced with was an open ring. It was way too big for my nose and had nothing stopping it from falling out. It would literally come out every single time I was in the shower so I had to get a different ring and change it out way before I was supposed to just to keep it from coming out. Thankfully I had to remove my piercing for a surgery and got it redone at Gypsy Muse. It was perfectly straight, healed quickly, and I have not had one single problem with it.

Went to North Alabama Ink today and got my first tattoo. I had Shawn as my artist and I recomend him for anyone. He was very welcoming and he set me at ease too since it was my first. He did such a wonderful job and he will be the only artist I will use in the future.

I got my first tattoo done here by Kandice and she was amazing! She talked me through everything and made sure I was comfortable. The staff was kind and the environment was clean.

I went there for my first tattoo a day they were so friendly and understanding when I wanted my brother and his girlfriend there (they had gotten tattoos in the same place I had gotten mine and they were there for moral support) I was in and out in like 30-35 minutes and the staff was just so amazing. Definitely going back for my second one, and third, and fourth, ect.

I honestly wish I could leave no stars. Anna Green is the worst "artist", and I use that term loosely. I went to her for a my very first tattoo after the guy I originally booked decided he didn't want to tattoo a teenage girl and pushed me off on her. She disregarded what I wanted for sizing and started tattooing. When I left I noticed two "e"s in my lettering were BACKWARDS and the lines were wobbly. After the healing most of my lines were blown out. 2 years later, I'm trying to find a cover up design. The only florence artist I recommend is Tristan at west coast!

I got a piercing done there done for my bday and they messed it up so bad, she pierced it diagonally instead of straight, didn’t walk me through any of the steps of how I was getting pierced or anything… plz go somewhere else if you are getting any piercings!!!!

10/10 Absolutely love this shop. I've been here a few times, have had work done by a few artists. I highly recommend going and seeing Shawn! He was great to work with, very light handed, I even managed to fall asleep while he was working on the back of my arm. He was super chill and laid back, really makes you feel comfortable. You can tell he's an artist who really loves what he does because he's very particular about his work and works hard to make it perfect. I will definitely be booking with him again very soon!

My sister and I had matching tattoos done in honor of our late brother and Shawn did an amazing job!! They came out exactly as we wanted them to and we couldn’t be happier! Super clean facility and Shawn was very knowledgeable and helpful with aftercare instructions and does amazing work! Definitely will be going back for more.
