Blue Rose Tattoo

I've had the pleasure of doing business at Blue Rose more than once. Each visit has been a great experience. Matt Gasga is the best of the best. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone!!

From the time I walked in I was passed off to 2 other people because they were not able to help me because of my "type" of tattoo. When Matt came out and I explained to him that I wanted to finish a tattoo that was started by a previous employee a couple of years ago (and did a great job) he informed me that "she has been gone for 3 years" (I fail to see how this is relevant, I intended to bring my business back to them why my finances were able) He then told me that he was able to work on a week day, I explained I too work and can better come on a weekend, he then huffed and said "we will never get it done then". I told him this was my only availability, he said "it's $100 an hour more on a weekend". He made it clear with his actions and attitude that I was a burden to him and his schedule. He was very haughty and I left. I will take my business elsewhere.

Very friendly staff. Matt is my tattooer and he is a great artist.
He is taking care of all my tattoos. He gives me exactly what I want,and the colors he uses are perfect.

I went today around 1:30 asked the lady if I could get a tattoo with my dogs paw prints she says oh yes they can do it just get what you need and come back it’s walk ins today. Oh great so having 6 dogs it took a bit to get what I needed but in the end I came back at 3 upon pulling into the parking lot I was greeted by a lady that appeared to be under the influence of drugs asking me if I was stalking her I’m no I just pulled in. Anyways I go in to check in the same drugged lady comes in right behind me talking to the same working that I’m checking in with and showing her what I want drugged lady says someone is beeping at her umm well your not a paying customer so go else where why was his lady not told this by someone who worked there is beyond me. So said drugged lady spent a good 30 mins walking in and out of the shop taking pictures of everyone and go around everyone cars. Anyways I’m out on the list it has about five names ahead of mine ok no big deal it’s going to be awhile. So around 6:15 ish a artist comes out calls my name so I go show him the paw prints and show him and example of what I want he says oh yeah I can do that it will take three to four hours @ $100 an hour. ok great! But he says it’s too big and going to take awhile so you need an appointment for that Waite what I have spent most of my Saturday here and you want to tell me now that I need an appointment and the first one available is July 12th? You have to be kidding me what a joke you really think I’m going to come back and give you my money I mean we could have at least started it and finish another day. This was not a good experience at all. My only suggestion is if you have someone working at your business then they should at least know what they are talking about I could have saved half of my day and gladly came back for an appointment if I would have been told ahead of time not after I waited for three hours. If she doesn’t know she should go ask someone who does.

Caroline was very kind and made my new tattoo look great. Went to anther shop a few months back and they were very rude. Blue rose took great care of me and I plan on returning. Thanks again :)

Called ahead so me and my bud could get tattoos
They said it would be 40 min first come first serve. We arrived 3 min later and put our names on the list at the same time. an hour and a half wait later they pulled my buddy back and knocked out his. I listened to the artists jump around the list picking the tattoos that would be the easiest and quickest to get a shop minimum fee. I had to wait an hour after my buddy before I went up and finally asked she told me it would be another 40min. I walked out.. They lied to us from the get go and I had to watch people who walked in an hour after me with no appointment get seen and finished before I ever even got spoken to. I wont be back.

Had my tattoo done by Matthew Gasca. He had me in for my tattoo within a matter of days, the man is a true artist. His work was very clean and detailed. Will definitely go back and I recommend this artist to anyone in search of one.

Best tattoo parlor in Alabama, IMO. Each artist has their own unique perception on what you want. I have never heard of one complaint from anyone who has ever gone here and everyone who has loves what they have. This is also the friendliest tattoo parlor I have ever been to. Hands down BEST TATTOO PARLOR in Huntsville and Alabama.

Theses guys are true professionals. Their lines are fine and colors vibrant. Greg did my tattoo to a degree of perfection. Thank you, Blue Rose Tattoo!

We've been coming to Blue Rose for 7 1/2 years, starting with Laura and then going to Greg after she left. All of the work has been great, especially the original artwork we've had done.
