Drove 5.5 hours just to get tattooed by Ryan. It was worth every second! His shop is by far the most professional and clean shop I have ever been tattooed at. Not to mention the piece he did is absolutely beautiful and everything I asked for and more. I would highly recommend this shop for any and all tattoo wants and needs. Looking forward to getting more tattoos!

His work is amazing, well priced, and I always leave with art that completely exceeds my expectations. The tattoo studio itself is also one of the cleanest I’ve ever seen. The atmosphere is amazing. Words can't explain how happy I am and how much I recommend this place and Ryan! Ryan was so good to work with through this whole process of getting my half sleeve. He's very laid back and easy to talk to and always attentive to my needs and comfort. I told him what my vision was and he nailed it. My tattoo came out better than I could have ever imagined!! If I ever had the perfect picture in my mind of what I wanted , this is right on the dot. He's amazing with detail and animals as well!! Ryan's facility is so clean you could eat off the floors. When I first saw Gage’s work, I couldn’t believe he hadn’t been a previous winner on “Ink Master”. His work speaks for itself but I’ll be glad to add to it. I wanted a family of bears in a PNW setting to represent my family and he took the idea and made it better than I could have ever dreamed. Wrapped up session 1 this past week and am already excited about the next. If you’re thinking “oh wow his wait time is so far out”, trust me….wait for an appointment with him! The wait will be more than worth it when you see your heart inspired designed on your skin with his skill that applied it! No matter how far you have to drive to get to his shop, you’ll drive back thinking you’d drive back twice as far to get his work again! He’s that good!
Also, he only charges you when he’s actually working on you. He doesn’t do the whole “I scheduled you for this block of time so I’m going to charge you for this block of time.” Dude is as honorable as it comes with how he charges! Don’t waste your time on your local guy just because he can get you this week, wait and make sure the art being put on your body is something you’ll always be proud to display, and this is the guy that’ll do it!

I have been to Solemn Ink for two tattoos with Gage so far. I have to drive an hour to get to his shop. I got my first tattoo with Gage in June of 2021 and just got my second in January of 2022. I will definitely be back for more. Never having had a tattoo before can make picking an artist pretty nerve racking and not knowing the proper etiquette on price, tip, and communication with an artist can make it worse. A coworker recommended Gage and I’m glad I went with him. Gage is super easy to talk to. Gage runs a super clean shop at Solemn Ink. He opened the needles in front of me and is constantly washing his hands and changing his gloves when needed. You can trust him and his healing recommendations after getting tattooed. I’m a firm believer in you get what you pay for. If you are worried about his prices look at the competition. It’s night and day difference. Save your money and get a quality tattoo from Gage. You won’t regret it.

I recently started another piece with him at his new location “Solemn Ink” and I was very happy with his setup. Very clean and organized. Gage is very good at what he does, so naturally he has a lot of clients. It may take a long time to get an appointment, but all the good artists have a long wait. I have had a few tattoos from a few different people, and I am highly impressed with Gage at Solemn Ink! 👍🏽
