I couldn’t get my septum piercing back in while trying to change it and BPU assured me over the phone they could help. The piercer was professional, made me feel comfortable and had the jewelry back in in no time at all! It was great service and a great environment. I’ll be returning for future piercings/tattoos and would recommend their business to anyone trying to do the same!

Mark did an awesome job doing tattoos for me and my friends! He was super accommodating of our time restraint and got us in early. We had a great time being there while all five of us got tattoos and all of us love the work he did.

I recently got a pair of piercings done here and then got one done at another shop and when my piercer saw the piercings, he noted that the placement was problematic, they were pierced with a hoop (which you're not supposed to do), and they gave me bogus cleaning instructions. One of the hoops was not bent closed properly. After getting my piercings and having the hoop properly closed, the piercing that hurts most is not one of the new ones, but the one where my piercer had to reclose the hoop. I was also trying to schedule a tattoo here in April and the artist I was scheduling with ghosted me.

My friend and I did a walk in appointment and our tattoo artist, Darius, did an amazing job. He took the fuzzy picture we brought in and drew some unique and beautiful. I love the line work on my bumblebee! Prices were very reasonable and the whole place was clean and well cared for.

I’m surprised this establishment even has any stars. They conduct business in extremely unprofessional manner. Where do I even begin?!….. I booked an appointment. Actually scheduled! Not just “talked about” or “vaguely discussed” an actual on the books appointment with an artist. The day of my appointment, I go in and was told my artist up and left. No notice. Okay…. So I never receive a call to be notified? Not to be offered a different artist. I just get to find out when I show up? One of the other artist says they can do it the following day.

Day of new appointment, I get multiple calls with different times to come in. I understand tattoos is hard to estimate time. But a rough estimate would suffice. Then to have my appointment canceled again. Okay thanks for at least letting me know this time.
When going over what I wanted/planned to do.
My other tattooes were criticized and were suggested to be redone. Never had i mentioned that I wanted anything redone. Then was quoted an outrageous price for things I didn’t want.
When I returned for my refund because at this point I was extremely over dealing with any of BPU personnel I was told they didn’t have enough money in the register to give me back my deposit.
No wonder. They probably rarely ever have business. Would not suggest going here. Or anywhere in Fairbanks. Sincerely someone who’s has had MANY tattooes elsewhere. .

Zach is super nice and does a great job. I have three nose piercings and he made them perfectly even and symmetrical with both sides and it looks great!! He also pierced my conch and helix today and I’m extremely happy with them :)
The most impressive and important factor is their cleanliness. They take sterilization seriously, which I cant express how important that is. Also the staff are super friendly and make me feel welcome. I am never going to get pierced anywhere else.
