Last Saturday My mom, sister and I came in for a memorial tattoo for my dad who recently passed away..
Gilbert blew my mind with the tattoo he did on me. He incorporated two of my dads favorite things to watch which was South Park and Harry potter. I am absolutely obsessed with the work he has done! It is so beautiful, clean and badass at the same time!!
My sister got a beautiful tattoo of a storm with a compass and gadgets! Seriously, Gilbert did an incredible job on both of our tattoos and the most beautiful lettering I've ever seen on a tattoo!
My mom had Mingo do her tattoo because he is better with color and he did such a gorgeous job! She got a beautiful lantern with a lighthouse inside! It is absolutely beautiful and clean!
We all had different ideas and ways to remember my dad and Gilbert and Mingo understood the assignment of making what we showed and said into something even more beautiful than we could have imagined!
They have now gained 3 clients as there work is absolutely incredible. But, the atmosphere is where it's at with turning an emotional day for all of us into something so fun with music, humor and making the place feel at home!

My wife and I were looking for a place to get a few piercings. After reading some reviews of some places around the area the reviews for Westside Tattoo seemed like some of the best ones so we decided to go here.
Needless to say, this place was excellent. Clean area, clean tools, sterilized needles and the works.
Gilbert was extremely nice and you could tell he knew what he was doing. The piercings didn't hurt one bit (ear cartilage for me) and it was super quick.
On top of that Gilbert was incredibly friendly and made sure we had a nice time while we were there.

If you're looking to get a new tattoo or your first tattoo I highly recommend this tattoo shop. The vibe is wicked cool. My tattooer Niko knew i was starting to get a little nervous considering I haven't gotten a new tattoo in over a decade. Nico was great reassuring light handed and did an amazing job with my tattoo his father also an awesome dude who's very interactive with his clients I cannot say enough good things about this tattoo shop.
