I did the training with Melanie and it was a really great experience! I think this is due to the fact that Melanie has such an easy going personality. She is patient, attentive, and encouraging. Not only that, she is detailed, organized, and gives honest advice about the beauty industry. I highly recommend her as an educator. Melanie’s Ombré brow training is amazing! She’s very detailed, and determined to help her students learn as much as possible. I had tons of questions throughout my training with her and she was more than happy to answer all of my questions! She was very confident in her work and curriculum.

Her skill is spot on! She also did some work on my brows, saying that I LOVE my eyebrows is just an understatement! They look spectacular I have gotten so many compliments. My eyebrows are still healing, I’m so excited for to see how bomb they heal!😍

Got my brows done today with Mel and it was such a great experience !! I've been wanting to do it for so, so long now and I was very upfront about how much I liked the fluffy, bushy, natural look. I emphasized this plenty and she really took it into consideration when working. She would fix even the smallest and most tedious details I pointed out or she'd notice. I can't wait for my healed results and touch up!!! I got microblading hair-like strokes in the front of my brows and it transitions into a darker ombré/powdered look towards the tail end. Super stoked about this treat to myself! Highly recommend, she's gonna be one of the greatest even though she's just starting out.

Update - 9 months later after first going to Mel.
I have now trained with her and learned the artistry of permanent makeup and ombré powder brows myself! Melanie was the best teacher, mentor, trainer, and person to guide me through this. I couldn’t have hoped or wished for a better person for the job. Her manual was thorough, her tool kit was out of this world, and she broke everything down step by step from what we needed to do before training, during training, and even after. She also got pig skin for us to practice on!!! I was sooo nervous to do my live model on day 2 but I felt so accomplished after it was over. I was extremely confident with her by my side and correcting any of my oopsies. She treated us to lunches and I could tell she was coming from a place and genuine love and care. She wasn’t just training for the money, she truly wishes success upon us. I enjoyed learning from her just as much as I did getting my services done by her. Highly recommend training with Mel If you are thinking about getting into this industry! I feel like I’ve gained a lifelong friend and supporter (:
