Hands down the best and baddest shop in town. Chris Yvon is an incredible traditional tattooer, I've been his client for years and he CRUSHES it every time. Look no further if you are searching for a killer tattoo from an artist who puts his clients first. My only regret is that I wish I'd found Aces High sooner.

When I walked in Bolt Thrower was blasting on the stereo and I immediately knew this was going to be a great time.
The street parking was easy (7-11 is a block down the street for snacks too). The shop was clean. The vibe was super friendly. Getting to look at some amazing artists old flash on the wall is a great way to kill time waiting for your appointment.
Also there's filtered water on tap in the bathroom. Spoiled by my well water I was happy to not drink that nasty San Diego tap water raw.
I came in to get work by Dansin. I am beyond thrilled with the work he did. I don't live in San Diego so I wasn't familiar with the shop, but as I was there I realized Chris Yvon (MastersOfDeath) who does some really metal stuff was there as well. If only I had more time!
If I find my self back in San Diego, I'll be for sure taking time to come back.
