We opened Pastime Tattoo on June 30, 2018 in beautiful downtown San Leandro, California. We are a destination shop, where local tattoo collectors and traveling collectors alike, come here to get their work done. Our goal is to be more than “just another tattoo shop”. Every inch of our walls and ceiling is adorned with tattoo designs (flash) that are hand painted by our artists and our peers. Awesome shop, great chill dudes who care about your well being. When I got the cuff of my wrist covered I became dizzy and my artist Buddha immediately suggested we stop, gave me a moment to drink some water, gave me a little spritz of numbing cream and continued with my tattoo. Great movies and or music playing, TONS of great flash sheets to look at while there, overall amazing shop with amazing dudes!

I love Pastime. I started coming here in 2019 and have several tattoos from Nate (including an in-progress cover-up that already looks amazing) and a few other artists from flash events. Watching the shop grow and expand really makes me happy and proud. The crew is funny, chill, respectful and professional. As soon as you walk in, you know you're in good hands. Even just hanging out, the atmosphere is inviting. It's a privilege to get tattooed by such awesome, knowledgeable people. I will definitely keep coming back. Last weekend I went to Pastime Tattoo with my family. Nate and Ben gave us tattoos in memory of my daughter. I was nervous because this was my first tattoo but they quickly put me at ease. The guys in the shop made us feel so welcomed and the positive, fun energy was definitely contagious. Thank you Nate and Ben (and the whole crew) for being so wonderful.
