Dirk was great. He was able to accommodate my schedule with a week ‘s notice. I don’t live in CO. His art work was done freehand - no stencil. The finished product is beautiful! Although, he was a little heavy handed due to the size, colors and area being inked. I’d highly recommend him. Will be back in next 6 months to do more. I highly recommend Epiphany and Dirk!

Called ahead to see if they by chance could do a spur of the moment piercing for me and by any luck I was told he could. So happy I stopped in for my piercing. Met Dirk. And we couldnt stop talking, instant connection it was great to be able to instantly be comfortable with a stranger! He was fast and listened to what I wanted and HOW I wanted it (which was the important part to me). And he even cleaned the snot from my nose! Really classy stuff! hahahaha But no really it was such a pleasure going there. And I will DEFINITELY be coming back. Thanks Dirk! See you soon :)

I went to get a simple tattoo about two three months ago and I was disappointed with the way the tattoo artist did it . Positives : Shop is extremely clean and Dirk owner is extremely pleasant and down to earth . If I had been more familiar with this shop I would have booked with him . His art is amazing . Negative : a guy named Eman did my tattoo . It took him forever and it hurt more than normal which made me feel he did not have enough experience . I have five others and this was by far the worse . Secondly although he was very friendly and personable he made my tattoo lopsided and then tattooed over my stretch mark on my hip which made the tattoo raise . When I went to another shop for them to correct it they said he should have put the design further up and yes although one hip is higher than the other he could have still did a decent job. Although tat was fixable it wasn’t up to my standards and for the price . Yes I could have went back and had him refix but why would I after he had already screwed it up . I love my tattoo now since it’s fixed but was a waste of $ and time letting Eman do it . I am thinking he is a apprentice but I should have been told that . So for that they get a 1 star rating .

“Dirk” Took $50 deposit to book on July 23 gave me a card that says July 23 and wrote my name down on his calendar on July 23. But I received this email in response to my email including my ideas/concepts for my tattoo:
Your appointment was scheduled for 4pm on Saturday the 16th
I'm completely booked on Saturday
The earliest I can get you in would be Monday 25th at 5:30
This would mean I no-showed my appointment and could potentially lose my deposit (which he didn’t do in his defense) however:
I think it’s bad business to lie to your customers and I don’t want someone who will lie to me to give me a permanent tattoo. That’s all. If he overbooked himself: cool. if my concepts required more time than I was slotted for: cool tell me that don’t tell me that I booked for a week ago. How does he expect me to take that?
I don’t know if he can tattoo well, but either he can’t keep track of his appointments or he’s a liar. Sometimes people who don’t keep track of their appointments also don’t keep very clean, who frickin knows.
