The Blue Door Tattoo

The Blue Door is the best tattoo shop in Denver! The staff and environment is excellent! I have been getting amazing work done here for the past 6 years. Cory is my primary artist. He is very talented and is great to work with. He has helped develop all my crazy ideas into amazing pieces of art. The Blue Door is definitely a place worth checking out.

I have been to this studio to get all 3 of my tattoos. I have seen Cami for all of these. This shop is amazing. I would highly recommend it to anyone that asks, especially those that are looking into getting their first tattoos. They do tattoo minors with the consent of a parent or guardian.

Just had work done here and I'll post a picture of the tatoo when it heals in a month or so. Cami is the artist she did my wife and my identical tats. She gets A+ for her work and personality. Highly recommend her

Cami the piercer was knowledgeable, friendly, kind, and professional. My friend and I got piercings done here by her and we're very pleased. They were running a special of 2 for $30 everything included. Everything was fresh out of sterile packages and the area and shop was clean. Cami also will answer all questions and make sure you know how to properly care for the new piercing. I would recommend a friend to get their piercings here.

One week ago today, on the Full Moon, I got my first piercing with Cami, at the Blue Door. She was patient, kind, calming and professional. She gave me a sucker and listened to all my concerns. She did a great job, definitely earning the "damn I'm good" sticker on my to-go bag. I highly recommend her and the Blue Door. They're old school, they do it right, and I look forward to seeing them for more work, in the future!

I just went here for my first tattoo after the recommendation of a friend and have nothing but good things to say. Everyone was very nice and Cory, who did my tattoo, was very patient and accommodating. He did a beautiful job and gave me exactly what I was envisioning. I definitely recommend him and The Blue Door.

The Blue Door was recommended to me by a good friend and co-worker who has had all of her tattoo work done there by Sherry and Cory. This was my first tattoo experience, and I couldn't be more happy with it! I worked with Sherry, who designed a memorial piece for my right forearm.

The atmosphere of the shop is excellent, and the decor and people there are both beautiful and inviting. Everyone there has a great sense of humor and congeniality that just makes you want to come back to hang out for awhile.

Furthermore, not only was the work I had done, the shop, and its staff all excellent, they were all exceptionally tidy, helpful, clean, and precise with their instructions. I can't stop raving about the entire process/experience and took a handful of business cards to hand out. I can't wait to go back to have my work finished, and to return for other planned pieces to be completed by these talented and generous people!

I just moved to Denver and tried to research the myriad of tattoo places to get my very first tattoo. I emailed Sister Bear at the Blue Door, she responded very nicely and promptly. I setup my consultation the first few days I was out there. I got my tattoo only days later. Sister Bear is one of the kindest people I've ever met! The shop is very clean. I did not feel an ounce of pain, and I hate needles. I can vouch for Sister Bear when she says "They don't call me 'soft-touch-sis' for nothin!" What a great experience. I referred my friend who got her nose pierced the following day. Very lovely shop and people.

The Blue door is an amazing place to get any kind of tattoo done. I came here for the first time a couple of years ago to get my first tattoo completed, I knew next to nothing about how the process was suppose to go. Laura, being the amazing person& tattoo artist that she is walked me through the steps, showed me her artwork and what to look for when getting a tattoo done. I was impressed with her knowledge as well as her artwork.She completed my first tattoo and the experience was as painless as she could make it. I came back for my second tattoo on August 4th and once again I had an amazing experience, not much pain and extremely clean lines and great detail. I love Laura and the Blue door, this is definetly the place to come!!!

I went in to have my rook pierced by Jess and she did an amazing job! The piercing was quick and nearly painless. Afterwards she was very thorough with the after care of the piercing. It is now only a few weeks later and my rook has healed very well. I would not go to anyone else for a piercing, I highly recommend her!
