Even though I was going in to see a different artist. I still got the same exact tattoo I was wanting and was very happy. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I will definitely recommend to anyone looking. And will go to them in the future!

Rowell and his crew are simply the best in the biz. I’ve been traveling from Southern California to Colorado for 10 years just for his expertise! The shop is spotless and their equipment always looks brand new. I’ve been in healthcare for over 20 years and their shop is hospital grade clean. I am and will always be a loyal customer. Keep up the great work Urban Element!

I don't know much about the company, but i am not impressed with how they conduct business/specifically Ryane Urie. I was traveling and only in town for a couple days, so over a month before I would be in town I reached out to Ryane to get done work done. Emails went back and forth and a date and time was set up. At the same time as my appointment my husband was getting a tattoo right down the street at 'til death. (which was a great place and Jacob did a great job!) So I walk in at my appointment time and I'm told Ryane isn't there and another artist text her. Turns out she completely forgot and wasn't going to come in for four hours.....The other artist didn't really ask me anything our try to help beyond texting Ryane. I ended up walking out and had to search for someone else in the short time I was in town. As for Ryane, she did still offer to do my tattoo, but then proceeded to give me advice on my tattoo yet never bothered to through email a month in advance. I would not recommend going here unless you want to waste your time....

Me and my husband just went and got our wedding date tattooed on our ring fingers!! They did an absolutely phenomenal job!! They're super friendly and we felt super comfortable the entire time!! Highly recommend them!!

This shop is incredible, and deserves the awesome reputation. 5 stars for sure, I just heard as well that Kevin Seawell is no longer working at urban element. His tension between the co workers there and clients made its uncomfortable. It's such a great shop, and it was a shame to have had a bad apple. Hope he treats his daughter better.

Find another tattoo shop! The artist was stubborn and arrogant.
Terrible communication. Didn't care to schedule my follow up appt., to complete the tattoo he didn't finish. Charged me double what he quoted.

In all fairness, Rowell did reschedule my appt, but if he'd just replied to my texts (which he did at first, then disappeared for weeks without responding to my questions - I had to reach out again and again just to confirm my appt), we could have avoided the reschedule (He says "leading up to" but means the morning of). His business plan is, apparently, to ignore clients until the day of the tattoo.
For 6 months leading up to the tattoo, I sent details and designs for him to create the design. He never sent any sketch or reply despite my requests. He finally sent the design the morning of the tattoo. The first appt was rescheduled because he didn't put any effort into the design and it was so far from what I'd explained and sent pics of, I was uncomfortable keeping the tattoo appt. It seems his plan is to get as much money from clients with as little work as possible. When I went to pay after the appt, and the cost was double what we'd discussed, he simply smirked and said, "my bad." His staff was standing behind him, and watched how easily he can overcharge and get away with it.
