BLOOD AND IRON TATTOO

They are the only shop I will allow to tattoo me, they've been my go to place for several years! I've been to 1 other shop in town because they came highly recommended so I figured I'd try something new... worst decision of my life, never again will I go anywhere else besides this shop! They are always professional when talking to them about tattoo designs and when the day comes to get inked. Great group of guys that work here. BEST TATTOO SHOP IN GREELEY!

The staff is nice and they all have wonderful work, though I specifically saw Duffy. He did very clean bright work on my arm and even touched up spots where the ink fell out just a bit. He was very patient with me as it was my first tattoo and continues to be very receptive when I have emailed/ come in to talk to him, even though I'm totally scattered and confusing. He makes great conversation but it also isn't at all uncomfortable to sit in quiet with him if you aren't a big talker. Very nice person with a good personality and beautiful work.

The worst place. You will get ignored, they will spend zero time on you. You can call ahead and send them what you want and still end up waiting over an hour for them to draw it up. You will get a huge attitude, not professional at all. The most non considerate staff. They will ask you if you have enough money to even pay for a simple tattoo. Literal dirt place. Also keep all down payment and give no apologies for how they treat you. Jeff? Is the name. Worthless. This isn't the first time they were a rude staff.

Showed up for appt on 1725. The guy who set up appt on Sunday and I had agreed at 1730. When I walked in and said I had an appt, the artist said it was at 1700 not 1730 and gave me attitude. Moved on to tattoo. I had told the guy who set the appt if he wanted to take a photo of what I wanted as I already had 2 other tattoos of what I wanted. He said no. I showed Duffy what I wanted and he said "I won't do that". I'll do it this other way if you want. If I wanted it that way I would have asked for it that way. He said it's why my other 2 weren't aging correctly. If they are or aren't thats my problem, not his. I asked if I would get my deposit back and he said no. Not a big deal. $40 won't break me. It's just the principle. They set the appt and provided no service because it's not something he could or wanted to tattoo? I'll find someone who won't give me attitude for his guy setting up a wrong time and who will give me the tattoo I want. Don't waste your time. I tried to do something local and give them a shot. Epic fail. Guess I'll keep going out of town to get what I want. Don't waste your time and go elsewhere!

After many hours spent searching Google and reading countless reviews I decided on Blood and Iron..... and I never looked back! I walked in on my 22nd birthday and John was the only one there. He was super nice and took my vision of what I wanted and ran with it. Absolutely crushed it with that one. Not even 2 weeks after that first tattoo he did, I was back again getting my ribs tattooed. During that time I probably threatened to punch him about 50 times lol, but regardless, he was great about it. Most recently (2 years since the initial tattoos) I went in with a huge idea in mind, I sent 3 photos of look-a-likes that I wanted to the shop email and didnt step foot in the shop again until tattoo day. I walked in and was immediately greeted with John's warmth and the most amazing version of what I wanted that I had seen! Even better than all the similar Pinterest photos I sent them. Again, he freaking killed it! He does great work, has such a light hand, makes the whole process easy and fun, remains talkative during the session and actually engages with you the entire time. Did I mention that he recognized and remembered me from the 2 years it had been since seeing him last?! Talk about personalized customer service! Now I'm not so sure there is anyone else I will let tattoo me, ever. A great problem to have for sure! In fact, all the guys here are great! 10/10 would recommend if you're looking for an all around great tattoo experience besides just great work!

I just left my third session with John for my fifth tattoo from him. John is an outstanding artist with a smooth, efficient manner, and a light hand! Best place in Greeley for ink!

John killed the 2 tattoos hes done on me so far. One was a cover up and i have so many tattoos but the one jihn did is my best work in me. Dude is super cool to talk to while hes working too. Im gonna have jihn finish my work cuz i dont want no one else to work on me now. Awesome place...
