Fallen Owl Tattoo Studio

I just got through a seriously difficult time in my life and wanted a tattoo of a morning glory added to my left shoulder to remind me that life is short, and being the sentimental person that I am, I wanted the piece to be custom, based off a piece that I drew myself (not a fan of flash, this one.) Being this picky, I decided to look online and check out reviews of tattoo parlors and found Fallen Owl with a 4.9 review record and detailed accounts of people's experiences. I was intrigued, so I took my design and headed over just to see if I could a consultation.
When I arrived, I decided I was being silly by just showing up, and decided to call in and ask if there would be time for just a consultation, and the front desk guy told me to just come inside and he would see about getting me on the schedule for the actual work in the afternoon. As soon as I walked in, (in an extremely fortunate turn of events,) the guy behind the counter said that they'd be able to get me in immediately, and handed my design to Angell.
Angell talked with me at length about what I wanted to do with the design, and when I told him I wanted it done in a stained glass style, he lit up like a Christmas tree and eagerly asked me about what I wanted with the color. I told him I would like him to put his own personal spin on the color as long as it states close to the traditional colors of morning glories. He agreed and had me in the chair in under an hour.
Now, Angell is THE best tattoo artist I have ever had work on me. He is very professional, and has a light touch, but also is extremely detail oriented. When we got to the color portion, I didn't ask what he was going to do, but he explained to me he was working the color in such a way that it would LOOK like stained glass, with ripples like glass would naturally have. The end result came out looking like a rose window on a cathedral the size of my palm, and the glass work coloring absolutely floored me. Once it was finished, he informed me he had never done stained glass before. He seriously could have fooled me.
The work is so beautiful, and I was so stunned by Angell's professionalism and skill that I immediately put down a deposit and scheduled another appointment in about two months (you have to book out that far, and trust me, it is WORTH it!) Adam's store is top notch, and he has selected some seriously talented artists! I will never go to another shop to have any work done, and because I was so impressed, I will be having Angell specifically turn this one beautiful piece into a full stained glass chest piece. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for detailed, quality work!

My husband experienced his first tattoo with Jim at Fallen Owl. Although small and simple, the meaning behind it was powerful. Jim took what we wanted and made it a reality. Professional, courteous, and clean. Simply the best tattoo parlor in Denver.

I got my first tattoo ever with Matt and he did a wonderful job! I will definitely be going back to Fallen Owl for another tattoo at some point.

I'm currently getting my second tattoo with Angel (first was also done by him) any the man has some serious talent! Beyond Angel's otherworldly skills, everyone at the shop is really great. I can't recommend this place enough, especially the work done by Angel.

Dino is great! He made sure all the Chakra colors were correct and vibrant! I am so happy with my tattoo! I love showing it off and everyone loves it.

An amazing shop! Adam has done a lot of super high quality hours on me and I’m never disappointed. All of the artists are extremely talented and the whole shop has a great atmosphere. Highly recommended.

Matt is an amazing artist. His attention to detail and what the client wants just add to his skillset. I feel his move to Fallen Owl just made him that much better being in the professional atmosphere that is this shop.

The owner of this tattoo studio, Adam, is one of the easiest people to work with. Professional all the way. Their artwork speaks for itself and definitely want to see this place get the recognition everyone say's they deserve and I agree.
