My boyfriend is from this area and we came down for his sisters wedding. We had a lot of family from England and Maryland in one spot, so all of us decided to have a family tattoo day. Now I know that sounds like a nightmare, but they actually were able to fit us in and were so nice. Derrick and Damien did all of our tattoos and they all turned out nice. I would recommend them, especially Derrick who did mine. I love my bumble bee!

My daughter got her first tattoo done at Beyond Taboo Tattoo. She had gotten her nose perching done about 6 months ago and I was pleased with service so when she wanted a tattoo I drove from Jacksonville to Fernandina to get it done. The shop is clean, Damien was pleasant to work with. He listened to what she wanted and gave her exactly what she asked for. He was patient and soothed her through the process. We had an appointment, we got there a little early, but we didn't have to wait. The after care instructions were clear and Damien answered all of our questions. If she wants another one...we'll be back.

I called 2 days ago about getting a piercing. I was told they only take appointments and I would get a call back to schedule. I asked when I should hear back, the guy told me whenever the piercer got the message. Apparently it’s being delivered by mail or pony express because I’ve still not heard back.

Got this sea turtle done by lil rat. Turned out pretty nicely and healed nicely as well I have no complaints. And pricing was fair.

Lowest prices for piercings ive seen. And a great atmosphere. The people here are friendly and welcoming. Came here with my cousin and family for her to get a tattoo and i myself got a nostril peircing. Great trip overall.

Saids on website walk ins welcomed got here and they say you need appointments. So needless to say they won’t have my business if your not gonna do what you post on your website do I would think the best thing to do is take it down just poor management

Will NEVER EVER get a tattoo there! After getting an over a infection from my tattoo there I had to pay for Tiffany at electric mermaid to fix my screwed up tattoo! Highly recommend tj's or electric mermaid
