Iris Tattoo Miami

Such a great studio and such a great vibe. I got a tattoo here a few weeks ago. It’s the largest tattoo I have ever gotten and I was really nervous about it. But Maria was amazing, the tattoo was exactly what I wanted and she made sure I was comfortable the entire time. The studio had such a welcoming environment and not like any other studio I’ve been to. I definitely recommend Iris as a safe studio that will make you feel comfortable and Maria as an amazing artist.

This place is absolutely amazing! Everything about my experience was really awesome. Everybody was very nice and welcoming and the atmosphere was great. Danny was the best piercer I’ve ever encountered, so friendly and professional and walked me through my septum piercing every step of the way. This was my second septum piercing as the first was done incorrectly at another place but I felt very comfortable with Danny and he did a great job. Love my new piercing! Don’t think twice, just go!

I had a great experience at Iris Tattoo Shop. It was my 1st time getting a tattoo at this shop and I absolutely loved everything during the process. I found the shop on IG and I was like, I should give it a try. Once you enter the shop, you feel welcomed and everybody is polite. There is a positive ambience and decoration is great. They offer you a beverage while waiting.
I was assigned Marianna to be my tattoo artist. She is phenomenal and her work is super cool. In the future, I will definitely pick Marianna to do some more artwork in my body. My mom was very emotional and surprised when I showed her that I tattooed her own autograph on my arm. Thanks, thanks, thanks!!!!!

This review is long overdue, but I can't stop thinking about how great of an experience I had at Iris! This was my first tattoo, so I was nervous, but Marianna made me feel so comfortable and never rushed. She gave me plenty of time to make sure the design was perfect, and most of all she was so kind! I absolutely loveee my tattoo and feel grateful that I chose to go to Iris. I will definitely be back!!

The studio waiting area is beautiful and comfortable. The staff and even the other clients were all friendly and welcoming. It was my first tattoo. Rustem transferred a photo of my late wife's favorite horse to my arm in vivid detail. I would definitely recommend Iris Tattoo. I was able to relax so much that I even managed a small nap during the tattooing. When I was awake, the view out the window was interesting. I would definitely recommend Iris Tattoo.

This is by far the best tattoo studio that I have ever been to. From the thorough communication prior to my appointment to the moment my tattoo was finished, there was nothing but professionalism. Adriana drew up my beautiful tattoo of an iris flower and I could not be happier with the result. Her work was so detailed and gorgeous. I will definitely be coming back for my next tattoo the next time I’m back in Miami!

My experience was an interesting one, but in the end, a wonderful one!

(I apologize ahead of time--this review is rather long)

I received my first tattoo back in January from Iris, but while scheduling my appointment, I unfortunately wasn't matched with the artist that had the style that I specifically requested (realistic, colorfully blended and shaded flowers). However, since it was my very first time and I am new to the world of tattooing, I trusted Iris' decision to pair me with their recommended artist all the way into getting the tattoo itself. Although Andie did a lovely job (and was such a sweetheart and very kind), my heart didn't feel...in love with the result. And as time wore on, I became rather disappointed in my tattoo upon seeing more works of realistic flower styles (shared via social media by Iris)--but they were done by other Iris artists. And that left me rather confused why my request wasn't matched with an artist with that specific style of my interest. So, I decided to make another appointment with Iris, explain my situation, and decided to also add two butterflies (unrelated to my concerns--I just wanted to add them).

So, after speaking with a new scheduler and discussing my interest in seeing a new artist to both touch up my tattoo to the style I originally wanted, as well as add the butterflies, I was surprised to have received a phone call by the owner/manager himself (Kenneth I believe his name is). He was so polite and explained how he wanted to speak one-on-one with me about my concerns and have my tattoo taken care of in the way I truly wanted. So, he booked me with Flor and even offered for the touch up to be complementary (despite working with a different artist) as well as added a discount. Although I didn't want to cause Iris trouble with such things and reassured him his kind offers weren't necessary (I was rather worried, because although I wasn't satisfied, I still didn't want to cause a fuss over my tattoo), I appreciated his kindness all the same in trying to help me. And I say that for Iris itself.

I truly appreciated the patience and kindness I was treated with. Working with my scheduler (Bautista) was great, and they reassured me that everything was alright and I had no need to apologize for having these concerns. My appointment with Flor was AMAZING. She is not only incredibly talented, but she is so kindhearted, as well. I could see the love and attention she put into restoring my tattoo. And she openly discussed with me what can work and what can’t work while being mindful of my original ideas. Honestly, my tattoo came out much more beautifully than I could have ever imagined. Flor brought it to LIFE with her skillful work and love for the art of tattooing! I left so happy and satisfied and truly in love with my tattoo for the first time. I already discussed future tattoo ideas with her and even my mother is thinking about getting her old tattoo restored by Flor! She is just the best.

[Side note: Yes, the price is...a lot. But to receive final results like this while working in such a positive and welcoming space makes your visit worth it. Even if things don't go as perfectly the first time.]

EDIT: Sadly I got an allergic reaction to their 14K gold jewelry…another piercer said that 14k is good but different suppliers put different things in it and this jewelry probably had some nickel. I’m really sad about it because I really liked my heart earring. The back post was giving me the most reaction so I had to switch everything out. For that I had to change it to 3 stars. Very nice people, but not the best quality jewelry,

The customer service here is amazing. The workers are nice and I love my second lobe piercing. The selection of jewelry is not as big as the piercing shop I usually go to but they always have deals during specific holidays or days. I would definitely suggest to follow their Instagram and go when you can!!
They even give you an aftercare kit for free! Saline solution and a piercing cleaner with a few chocolates! Just go, you definitely won’t regret it!!
I’m thinking of getting a tattoo and I know I am definitely going here!

Such a clean, beautiful studio & they did an excellent job with both the planning and the tattoo of my dog that I've been wanting for years! Also loved the little gift box that comes with it. The only issue was that the studio was hard to find since it's located inside a condo, so maybe having some more signs on the outside of the building for customers!

Such a great tattoo experience! Flor (my artist) was super nice and personable, she is so skilled at taking the inspiration images you shared and making it totally unique and your own. Overall really beautiful work. Also the space itself is a cutely decorated, very clean environment and they provided thorough aftercare solutions. Would absolutely recommend Iris to others.
