Beyond grateful that we chose this tattoo shop. Caro was so welcoming and personable. I got 3 tattoos for a very good price. Also Pam was so calming and reassuring that I would be in good hands!

This is a follow-up from a review I left almost a year ago getting my first tattoo. The first tattoo experience was good. The owner was nice, comforting as well as the tattoo artist with a lot of patience as well. What prompts me to write this review are a series of events. When I went to get my second tattoo, the artist was pretty opposed to do the tattoo I had in mind because one of them was facing forward and the other backwards. Now I know some artists are against their work facing towards the beholder but it was something very personal to me and my rationale. The artist made me feel guilty of wanting the position like so and made it feel like if it was untasteful when it had much meaning and she didn't really ask much. In the end, I understood but she still did the tattoo the way I wanted it but not in the most positive attitude (a friend of mine came with me and she was put off by her explanation of "it doesn't go in line with the kind of art work I do and I normally wouldn't do it"). So, I guess it felt sour on both ends. After that tattoo, the owner had commented in my first tattoo session that touch-ups were free within a year and I though that was a great perk. So I went to get a touch-up quite quickly given that it was fine-line in a tricky spot. I made an appointment via the owner for the morning and when I got to the shop, it was completely closed and no one answered the phone. I called the owner then texted her and she said there was a mistake on her end and to stop by the shop later in the PM. After that hassle, I did stop by and got the touch-up done but it was a bit of an unfortunate situation. My third situation is that I scheduled a touch-up with the artist for my first tattoo which the year is about to come up and definitely needs to get re-done. When I scheduled the appointment, I felt horribly ill and felt responsible to stay at home and immediately reported this directly to the artist and she received the notice. I was diagnosed with COVID so luckily it was the right choice and for me to go another time. When I test negative multiple times, I contact the shop to see if I can get another touch-up done and my artist, Julie was unavailable until weeks later and I am moving out of state. So, I asked if another artist would be willing to do it. The front desk contacted the store manager and responded that yes, perhaps an artist wouldn't mind doing a touch-up but there would be an $100-200 fee. I was pretty shocked to find out that after being a customer from the very beginning, being understanding, and patient, this detail wasn't disclosed. To my knowledge later on, I'm not sure why the artist wouldn't post her artwork (the first one) on social media maybe perhaps because I gave too much direction. Still, it feels a bit hurtful. For the touch-up fee, I wish Andy can read over this because it is very disappointing for this "accommodation" knowingly that it wasn't my fault that I was sick and made the decision to stay at home when I could have on accident contaminated the workplace. I can't say that I would highly recommend the shop as much as I did in the beginning due to lack of professional customer service. I'd appreciate feedback on the matter. Thank you.

I found this spot from a friend and decided to come because his tattoo came out very well. I dm’d them on Instagram and got a quick response. My actual experience at the shop was amazing with the nice and friendly receptionist. My actually tattoo came out phenomenal with Leo and I love every inch of it. I highly recommended this place if you’re looking for an amazing tattoo.

I came to Skye Ink for a last minute walk-in and they made the effort to bring an artist in. It was amazing service, Caro was really nice and welcoming and the artist (Pam) was willing to take in more friends as they arrived. Highly recommended. Great quality and commitment to be sustainable.

Pam and Karo were so nice and gave me all the information I needed for my first tattoo. Skye Ink has a chill vibe with amazing people giving top notch service, all tattoos being vegan is an added bonus! I would definitely recommend!

Absolutely wonderful experience from the minute you walk in the door. The owner is so kind and the atmosphere is welcoming. I was tattooed by Julie and her work is beautiful and her energy kept me so entertained and peaceful while she tattooed her art. 15/10 experience can’t wait to be back for more !

I like to believe I have a good amount of tattoos on my body from highly reputable artists here in Miami and from France and Spain. Instill your trust in my words when I tell you, Skye Ink beats all.
The atmosphere is immensely comfortable and has such a wonderful aesthetic. My fiancée and I were greeted by the owners, who welcomed us with open arms. I gave some ideas of my tattoo, which it was really a cover up idea, and from there, I was trusted to the hands of my now permanent tattoo artist, Leo.
Please understand, cover ups are INSANELY difficult to do, but Leo conquered it with ease. His idea and creative mind really spoke volumes along with his craftsmanship with the needles. Leo is a down to earth, awesome person that really hears you out and is willing to help you out when needed.
The owners, the artist, the totality of it all, really resonates amazing. They don’t settle for anything less than wonderful. These guys here strive for greatness and absolutely dominate it. As you can clearly tell, I WILL be coming back here again for now on and highly recommend any person, be it your fist or 50th tattoo, to trust these guys with your vision.

This place is amazing!!! Walked in wanting 2 tattoos and my friend wanted 2 as well. We were able to come back an hour or so later and get both done. Leo is reliable and not heavy handed. Perfect thinness and shape. RECOMMEND!!!

Went in today to get my first tattoo with Julie. First of, the boutique is incredibly clean, minimalistic, and comforting. Julie, the artist, collaborated and truly listened to me for an important interpretation of a poem I have lived by for a very long time. She was patient, calm, humble, and understanding. Andy, the owner, is a true badass boss. She answered immediately and contacted me personally to meet my accommodations. Extremely respectful, polite, and knows how to treat her clients while making clients feel comfortable, specially during these challenging times. If I ever get a second tattoo, no doubt, I would come back again and I will recommend this studio to anyone. WONDERFUL and PAINLESS experience. THANK YOU! <3
