Jay has been doing my traditional style tattoos for years, I’ve followed him to Temple Tattoo and I love the environment here the most. It’s laid back and super clean. I was looking for a shop that could squeeze myself and my wife in to get a tattoo same day and I was not expecting the experience or tattoos we left with. I went to Temple Tattoo on a Tuesday afternoon after visiting 2 other tattoo shops (no walk in availabilities). Jay Bargoil at Temple Tattoo greeted me immediately and was available to do a walk-in tattoo. I initially only came for a simple numerical text tattoo on my foot, but the availability and attentiveness of Jay made me feel comfortable asking if he had any ideas to cover up a blotched part of an older tattoo of mine. He drew up a flower with leaves for cover, which I was very happy with. He was very patient with me during my many changes in tattoo placement. The tattooing itself wasn't bad. Clean lines and clean coloring. Another artist, Jevon, was also in the studio providing conversation and fun banter. Even suggested that I ask Jay to fix one of my other tattoos that was scarred and botched (from a different studio; scarred because of infection). After finishing my foot, Jay was more than happy to fix my other tattoo. I credit Jevon with planting the seed in my mind to get it fixed. Now it looks SOO much better! All in all, I had a great experience at Temple Tattoo. They were able to take me for a walk-in after I was turned away at two other shops. The atmosphere was very chill in the studio. Great quality work. Affordable prices. And great conversation from both Jay and Jevon! Highly recommend!
