I was in Savannah in July for my 40th birthday. I've been wanting a tattoo for a long time. I read some reviews of tattoo shops in the area. Finally decided on Tatlyfe. I went in, told them my ideas and my budget. They were great. Ms. Aniya was so helpful and friendly. Felt like I had known her for years. My artist did an awesome job. I followed the aftercare instructions I was given. My tattoo never hurt or turned red. It didn't scab much either. I have gotten lots of compliments. It looks great. My husband and I are planning to go back when our budget allows. I won't go anywhere else.

"Word on the Street" literally is attracted me to Tatlyfe Studios. It was three years ago on a hot August day strolling down Derenne talking to a friend about tattoos when we ran into a guy talking about Tatlyfe. Back then I was only 19 but still old enough to get in the shop. Mrs. Aniya is the first person I met and I could tell she is a very professional woman. I enjoyed walking into a "black-owned" business but they don't see color or dollar signs. They believe in art and the atmosphere in there is amazing. That day I paid a deposit on my second tattoo and I loved Big Jake's work. They allow you to "set your budget" and work with your pockets. They take out time to assist you as a client instead of only focusing on how much will be spent. Now it's 2015 and I went from one to five tattoos (four of them being done at Tatlyfe Studios.) I've also had the pleasure of being tattooed by all of the artists and I would recommend this establishment to anyone. I love the Tatlyfe family. <3

The normal experience for most tattoo shops is very straight forward and dry. With that being said the experience I've had this far with Jake and Aniya is nothing close to normal its stellar and nothing short of professional. They are both very easy to talk to and listen to what you are wanting while still giving great feedback on what could make your experience that much better. I will definitely be getting much more work done here.

Received a beautiful Buddha tattoo on my thigh. Very pleased with the results. Establishment was clean and I love the fact that you’re not sitting out in the open as you’re getting tattooed so customers can’t just come in and stare at you. They have a large selection of movies to watch to keep you occupied. Tattoo is personalized to fit your budget AND personality. Will definitely be returning for another masterpiece. “Welcome to the Family”…The first words from Aniya and Jake as they greeted me. And that’s exactly the experience I had. Comfy and at home. They make the perfect team! She’s the smooth operator while Jake makes you comfortable and works his magic! I appreciate their cleanliness and the extra precautions taken. They’re very informative, factual and straight to the point. But my favorite is the seclusion. That appointment was for ME. It’s not like your normal shop where everyone is waiting around. It’s your time to shine. A VIP session with Big Jake Himself so to speak. My tattoo was a tribute to my husband who was murdered a year ago. He chose Tatlyfe as his go to for his sleeve. He didn’t get to accomplish all of it but I knew they were the ones for me! Loyalty is everything! Thank you guys for the best experience possible and an absolutely gorgeous piece! I’ll see you soon!

Big Jake and Miss Aniya run an extremely clean, professional, and friendly shop. Their quality of work from all of their artists is always exceptional! I've been coming to get my work done from them for the past 2 years, and I have always been completely satisfied and loved the work that I've had done. I won't go anywhere else but Tatlyfe.
