Old Iron Side is such a great place historically and professionally. I worked with Charlie as a Walk in when I was looking for an American traditional tattoo, and he was very helpful when picking designs off flash (which the shop had MANY to offer!). I also had to come in the next day for a cleaning and saniderm application and it was very quick and easy! The shop has great vibes and music too. I suggest stopping by one day

Got tattooed by Hari himself, and it was such an awesome experience. Came all the way from Pennsylvania, made an appointment 2 months in advanced. Great communication with Charlie throughout and also with the artist. Cozy shop and a lot of history and I was expecting to pay waaaay more money than I did, which was a very pleasant surprise.

Trekked over to Chinatown specifically to visit here and the guy who came downstairs was totally uninterested in helping us. Theyβd only been open for about 20 mins. We asked if he was with another customer and he said he was just cleaning upstairs. We started talking about the tatts we wanted. My hubs is pretty heavily covered already and I have some sizable visible tattoos and this guy barely made eye contact and made no effort in discussing what we were looking to do. We just ended up leaving and it was really disappointing as we were psyched to get new ink there.

These dudes are awesome. My girl and I got tattooed by Alfy and Hari. Clean, classic tattoos at a fair price. They were awesome. And how can you not get a tattoo at Sailor Jerry's old studio. Great tattoos, awesome artists and a historic site.

Wow! What an awesome place to get work done! Not only were Alfy and Harry really cool people to meet and talk to, but the work they do is phenomenal! No better place for the nostalgia and the history than Old Ironsides. I'll definitely be making a return trip to get now work done by the talented people here! Thanks for the great work!
