Was hoping to get some flash as a walk-in during a visit to the island. As a tattoo collector, I was hoping to learn a bit about the history of the shop, Sailor Jerry, chinatown, etc. Unfortunately the two guys at the shop weren't very interested in chatting and were a little rude.
I get it, people probably ask about Sailor Jerry all the time and the topic is tired. Although the shop wasn't busy, the guys may have been busy preparing for appointments but a dismissive and rude attitude sucks. Its a bummer for those that are interested in the legacy and history.
The shop lost a client and my money due to crummy attitudes. I'll recommend elsewhere in the future.

Such a great experience. Had Mark tattoo me as a walk in. Got a traditional sailor jerry tattoo. Very friendly, well priced. So happy with the outcome. Recommend highly this place, so much history.

History right in front of you. Cool place to visit and get a feel for old Honolulu. Just need to get the tattoo next to really feel the atmosphere. Still drinking the Sailer Jerry's though!
