Kainoa is an incredible artist and did an amazing job. Took all my input and gave me the tattoo I was absolutely looking for. Its everything I wanted. Very gentle touch and super attention to cleanliness and sanitary process. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Kainoa is great! Before I booked I had looked into everywhere I could on the island! When I saw Kainoas work I knew I needed to get booked with him! Booking was easy and very smooth! From the moment I stepped into the shop I felt very welcomed! I gave him and idea and let him do the rest and it tuned out amazing! I LOVE this piece I got!

Would highly recommend to anyone visiting or staying on the Big Island, Kainoas work completely blew my fiancé and I out water! The line work is on point, better then I expected, made sure I was getting what I wanted. Overall the happiest I've been with a tattoo. The place was clean, the artists were professional and most importantly friendly.

We researched tattoos on The Big Island, and Packing Ink Tattoos came up at the top of the search for a reason. What an experience! From start to finish our artist Sean, was professional, serious, creative, thoughtful, and gave us an experience we will never forget. We highly recommend this place if you are looking for a tattoo on The Big Island. Don't go anywhere else. They might be booked, so call ahead and plan ahead to maximize your experience here. **A final note--Sean stayed 3 hours AFTER the shop hours closed to finish our tattoo. Above the call of duty.

This was our second time getting ink from Kainoa and we couldn't be happier!!! He has mad skills and we can't wait to get more in the future !

The best tattoo shop ever my number 1 place I will always go to Kainoa and his wife Lindsey are the most professional nicest people I’ve ever met Kainoas work is unbelievable he’s always been doing all my tattoos they come out fantastic they are all free handed and are always well done fantastic work! This is the best place to come to for your first tattoo or thinking about getting one this is the place to go.

Sean was great! It was my first time getting a tattoo and I was a little nervous but the entire shop made the atmosphere so relaxing and easy to get a tattoo. Sean’s work was great, he had a very light hand. I was told the pain was really bad but that was not the case. They where very patient with us when booking the apt and when we arrived and changed some things. Overall it was an amazing

I loved this place because of the awesome work that my husband and I got while in Kona on vacation. The setting up process was easy and fast. Setting up the appointment was a breeze. We paid a small deposit to get in for one day. We were there all day getting large tattoo work. My husband's took longer and came out exactly how we wanted. Then mine was done freehand and was a cover up that came out just amazing! We were very happy with the work Kainoa did as well as the hospitality we received on a quick trip by before our appointment, by Lindsey, both owners. The shop was clean and focus was very professional. The tattoos were all excellent work and we recommend getting a little work done here for sure..

Kainoa and Lindsey are amazing! Lindsey helped me get booked on short notice and was great at communicating. Kainoa free handed a tribal piece on my arm for me. Technically, it's probably the best tattoo I have. His line work is incredible and his application is amazing. He has a great hand and you can see his passion and experience in his work. HIGHLY recommend. I hope I get to come back some day for some more work!
