Blue Tiki Tattoo

On our Kauai vacation at the end of January 2019, my GF and I wanted to get tattoos done by a local artist. We visited Blue Tiki and were greeted by friendly and professional staff. Both Cody and Billie Joe were excellent and very helpful when coming up with a design and all of the considerations to go along with it.
I was particularly impressed with Cody’s interactions with another potential client when he brought up the appropriateness and location of the guy’s idea. He was honest and polite (and rightly addressed the guy’s idea IMO). The shop is impeccably clean.
We booked with “Miss Billie” who was able to accommodate our travel home date, a Sunday no less. We sent her the design ideas and some pictures. She came up with fantastic final product designs for both of us, with her own personal artistic flair. Both our designs ended up being bigger and took longer than we had initially thought, however, Billie was able to get the job done. Both of our designs appear to be a bit outside of Billie’s traditional wheelhouse based on her design book, but her work was fantastic. We are both extremely pleased with the customer service and we love our new tattoos to mark our first vacay in Hawai’i together.

My wife, Dad and I got our first ever Tattoo's on July 12th at Blue Tiki Tattoo on the Hawaiian Island of Kauai. Billie, Rick and crew were great in preparing us/answering any questions we had for prior, during and after their artwork was completed. My wife was very nervous about the pain and Rick did everything to try and make sure she was comfortable during the process as she got the word/name Grace just above her ankle. My Dad mentioned that he had a great conversation with Billie while she did her artwork on him. My Dad and I got matching Tribal Turtle Tattoos as a great memory of our trip. Great job and a HUGE thanks to Billie and Rick, they do AMAZING work. I personally have received many compliments from the turtle tattoo Rick did on me. I've included a couple pictures of the finished artwork.

This was the best experience with a tattoo artist we have ever had. Billie's banter and good spirit left my whole family with memories we will always cherish. Billie is laid back, a fantastic artist and well priced. We will continue to come back for more!

My mom and I came in to get our first tattoos and couldn't have had a better experience!! We were both very nervous but everything worked out great and our tattoo artist, Billie, was awesome. Our tattoos are so beautiful! Definitely recommend.

Went with Mom and my wife for some ink work. Mom got a new honu tattoo on her leg which turned out amazing and my wife wanted an addition to a tattoo that was about 20 years old. My wife's piece was completely redone with the additions she asked for and was 1000% more impressive, colorful and beautiful than the original. Even at healing the color was packed in perfectly and the work is clean and straight. We are fans of Blue Tiki Tattoo and when we are back on Kauai we will be back to see the artists at Blue Tiki Tattoo!

Great food. Let them know if you've never been before. You will get a taste of their beef fajitas. Speaking of which, are the best fajitas I've ever had anywhere! All the other items are great too. But those beef fajitas....... yum! And this location is open even thought Google doesn't have it listed that way yet.

Great shop. Billie is an amazing artist, and very personable. She spent time making sure every detail was perfect, all the while chatting like old friends. Would recommend her and Blue Tiki to anyone!
