Papa Joe was willing to place me in a session at 8:30 in which my session lasted till 2:30 a.m. the workers here are dedicated. I have always gotten the best work done here, and if you're looking for a tattoo and a great price talk to Papa Joe

Papa Joe is a very friendly person and makes it easy to feel comfortable in his shop. That being said I would not be surprised if he were drunk when I came in. My appointment was set at 7 in the evening however when I came in he said that he would be an hour late since he was still working on some other people before me. He finally finished up at 9:30. After that he took his sweet time drawing up stencils for my friends and I. He didn't even start tattooing me until midnight, 5 hours after mg appointment was set. When he started the tattoo the lines were shaky as hell and it looked nothing like the stencil. Luckily he fixed it up and it ended up looking somewhat decent although in the process of doing so he went over every line probably 15 or 20 times. I was in agony. Every time I was sure he was finished he would go back over it again. It took him an hour and a half to do the tattoo. Had I gone to the artist I normally go to it would have been finished in half the time, without having to wait when I came in, and for a much better price. I've recieved tattoos for Friday the 13th that are higher quality. Finally after all of what happened and the tattoo was finished, and my friends decided they did not want to get tattooed, I gave Joe the money for the tattoo and he had the courage to look at me at 1:30 in the morning after the worst tattooing experience I have ever had and he said "you know, tipping is free." Tipping is for when I have anywhere close to decent service and a tattoo that I'm happy with. I could list a number of tattoo shops within a mile radius of this one that would be insanely better quality and service and if Papa Joe's is your only choice then you're much better off not getting inked.

Honestly the best tattoo artist in the valley. Never going anywhere else. Found him based on his Google reviews, and I am SO glad I did. I originally just needed a small piece on my ribs, but the work he did and the care he put in to making sure my tattoo was perfect convinced me to keep coming back. Since then, he's tattooed my hands and soon to be the entirety of my left arm. He'll sit down with you for as long as it takes to work out the details and make sure you get a quality tattoo for beyond amazing prices.

Love how my piece and my boyfriend’s piece came out! Joe’s got a great eye and is easy to talk to. He was willing to stay late for us and finish his work, and followed up with a text afterwards to make sure all was well. Will definitely be coming back to him for future tattoos :) Thanks Joe!!!

Papa Joe did an amazing job on my 14 year old son, 2 tattoos with a great price! Perfect transfer of a custom drawing, all lines are straight and even as if a computer printed on my boy. Thank you Papa Joe, my tattoos are next.

Professional yet relaxed, Papa Joe's Tattoo. A tattoo shop with an incredible atmosphere. My past experience with a tattoo shop, left me thinking tattoo artist are rude and rushed. Quite the opposite at Papa Joe's. He took the time to get a feel for my personality and was non judgemental. He never seemed impatient or hurried but genuine about making sure what I was asking for, not just work, but really work for me personally. Papa Joe made my vision come to life.

This is a true street shop with a very old school feel to it. Tons of original flash on the wall. Papa Joe does amazing work with big, bold colors. He is a great storyteller and makes the time go by quickly. He's also very friendly when you stop by just to chat with him.

Where do I start; first time coming to PAPA JOE'S TATTOO and all I have to say is nothing but greatness walked in and felt welcomed nothing better than that. Easy going great to talk to the shop is great and very homey. Best tattoo shop I have even gone to. If you want a tattoo papa joes is the place to go. Great job guys and thanks so much. Went in as a walk in with the idea of my tattoo. Within the hour joe and made the tattoo unique to me and did a wonderful job on the tattoo! Highly reccomend and will be back again for more. Work with joe, he does great work and is very personable.

Micheal and papa Joe are great! Micheal did my first tattoo, he's a really cool guy, made me feel less worried bout the pain. Micheal has been doing tattoos for 11 years and Joe has been doing tattoos for 20 years, so glad I came here! Thank you guys!!:)
