New Life Tattoos

The way staff runs things is very subpar. I can't speak for their tattoos, but as far as their piercings go they are severely lacking in customer service. I received a cartilage piercing and the process was fine. The first red flag was the piercer recommending dial hand soap among other options to clean it with. After my research, it was concluded that you should never use soap and water, only a sea salt based spray (ex: H2O Ocean) or a sea salt soak. I came back not too long after to buy more H2O Ocean only to be told "Sorry the piercer isn't here and we don't know where he put the key to the box so we can't sell you any." In my opinion it doesn't make much sense to own a tattoo/piercing shop and the employees don't even know where the key to products is -- Which brings me to my last point: the piercer is only available two of the seven days in the week the shop is open. Even with scheduling ahead, their service is simply inconvenient to say the least. If your only looking for the job to be done, call in advance to schedule it. For follow ups, finding another shop is your best bet.

Loved the atmosphere. Our artist, "lunchbox" is very good at making sure you are comfortable while applying on the tattoo. I will tell all who is needing a tattoo artist.

I got a walk-in tattoo from Lunchbox and was extremely pleased! The whole shop seemed very clean and professional. Lots of amazing designs to look at and very reasonably priced!

Came here for an upper lobe piercing and the experience was great! My piercer was trained and a great conversationalist. I'll definitely be coming back here and recommending it to others!

After my daith piercing fell out, instead of having to drive an hour and a half back to my original piercing person, I was able to walk in to New Life and get it put back in quickly, easily and by a professional.

Rudest staff I've ever encountered. The owner was downright unpleasant. He made snide comments about my arm piece being unoriginal and when I joked about the music playing he felt the need to remind me "whose shop I was in." If I wasn't halfway through a tattoo, I would have got up and left right then. It may be your shop buddy, but customers pay your bills. And you just lost a customer!

This is the place to go in Champaign to get tattooed hands down. The artists will work great with custom designs or something you pick from the wall/ceiling, you’ll be asked along the way if you’re doing all right or need a break, and the whole time you’ll be laughing at the jokes and goofy banter between the artists and listening to the funky music playing to get your mind off the pain. Although there are places around the world I would like to go for tattoos, this is the only place you’ll catch me going to in Champaign and I’ll be back soon.

Eric did an awesome job on my black/gray piece. He took customer ideas into consideration and gladly redrafted. Great price. Would recommend to family/friends.

Getting a tattoo was prob the most spontaneous thing I have ever done!! I have always wanted one but thinking too much about it, it never happened. After a devastating bears loss me and my gf decided it was time to update our images!! "Lunchbox" helped us out with a new nose ring for my friend and a tattoo for me! I have to say the service was amazing, the place was remarkably clean, my tattoo came out perfect and exactly what i wanted and my gf loves loves loves her piercing. I am planning on getting another tattoo and even if I move I am def gonna come back to this place! IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT GETTING A PIERCING OR TATTOO DEF. GO SEE THESE GUYS!!!!

Just got a tat by L.B and it exceeded my expectations! He was super accomodating ,always making sure i was comfortable etc. The price was awesome! Company great and the work was spectacular! I wont go anywhere else from here on out!
