Sooo happy with the little rose tattoo I was able to get on a whim as a walk-in last week! The receptionist was really helpful and got me set up in just a few minutes. Brandon did my tattoo, and it looks so perfect. I wanted something small and dainty and he did beautiful line work. He was so nice to talk to and made me feel so comfortable. Luckily we live just down the street so I’m sure we’ll be back! Highly, highly recommend this gem of a tattoo shop.

Tattoo is amazing. I had Matt beatdown and he was amazing (so were the other ones as well) but my tattoo took 10 to 15 mins and made me very comfortable and it looks really good!

I was very nervous to be trying a new shop but I’m so glad I did. The staff were very friendly and the shop was very clean. Mike did an excellent job on my new tattoo and I am absolutely in love with it! It’s exactly what I wanted and looks absolutely beautiful. I am so happy with how it turned out! I will 100% be coming back for my next tattoo!

I love that they take walk-ins. My husband and I were in town to celebrate and decided we wanted new ink. We only needed to wait 1.5 hours before Brandon was able to get us in. Brandon was great to talk, work with. The shop has a nice set up, with lots of character!

Great Lakes Tattoo is awesome! From the time I requested my appointment, to the time that my tattoo was finished, they had been nothing but wonderful. The shop is sick inside, very clean, plays good music, and follows great covid protocols. Everyone at the shop is super kind and friendly as well. Brandon did my tattoo and I adore it, check out his work! My next tattoos will definitely be done here/by Brandon!

Was told to come in to have a hand tattoo that wanted to get reworked get looked at by an artist. The man at the front was very friendly, I sat and waited for a while before being greeted by Matt. I explained my situation and he grabbed my hand without asking and inspected the tattoo in which he didn’t even ask to touch me. Then he proceeds to tell me that the tattoo is unworkable and I need to have it lazered off. Could MAYBE forgive this remark if he hadn’t been so rude to me. He then told me that he could retouch the red (the tattoo is pink) and it would cost 350$. Being a woman who get tattoos I am always looking for artists that treat people with kindness, gentleness, and respect since I am a survivor and anything dealing with my body is sensitive. This interaction not only frustrated me on a general customer service level but I felt mistreated in a place where I am vulnerable. There is no room in the tattoo industry for this outdated pushy, aggressive, mean attitudes from artists. Being a tattoo artist does not give you permission to treat people who come into the shop (especially woman) poorly. Would not recommend this shop if you want a positive experience.

Well if I could give this place 100 stars I would. The amazing aesthetics and incredible gathering of talent alone makes this place absolutely one of the best shops in the country. BUT on top of that..EVERYONE WAS SO NICE! Simply blown away by how genuinely wholesome all of the artists and counter staff was. I felt so welcomed form start to finish. I highly recommend anyone looking to get quality tattoo art from an incredible shop GO HERE!

The front desk worker was awesome and super friendly. They take walk-ins and it only took about an hour and a half of a wait, not too bad on a busy Saturday. My artist was great, didn't catch his name. Excellent quality work, would highly recommend!

My artist was Kevin Leary- he was super accommodating, patient, friendly, and all around super genuine! Such a pleasant tattoo experience, especially for such a small piece. The staff was kind,the shop was clean and follows COVID protocols. What more could ya ask for?
10/10 would subject myself to pain again (here)
