Did a family tattoo for Father’s Day, & the shop did a wonderful job with everything we asked of them. Our tattoos came out better than we could imagine & we enjoyed our time spent in the shop. We felt welcomed & wanted there. The artist at this shop are at the top of their games and producing beautiful artwork they should all be proud of! Thank you Keepsake!

Called before hand, asked if they could do walk in piercings, they said yes, told them what we wanted, all was good, got there, was told to wait half and hour to sterilize equipment, then called back in 30 mins, told them for the 3rd to 4th time what we wanted, then told they didn't have the jewelry in to do the piercings they originally said they could do an hour before that time! Really upsetting, poor communication and customer service. And wasted gas to get there! 😒 will not recommend to anyone I know.

This place is great for both tattoos and piercings coming from someone who's gotten both from this location. Their piercer, Tess, was super nice and very helpful when it came to aftercare. She even helped me find proper sized barbells for my industrial since my ears are a bit smaller. I would definitely recommend this place!

I’ve gotten several tattoos here and I will never go anywhere else. This place just feels like a family when you walk in. They are all really professional but also funny and friendly and insanely talented. I’ve come in with very specific ideas and they drew up exactly what I wanted, and I’ve also come in with an open mind and some vague vibes and they still knew exactly what I wanted. I’ve used 3 guys there and all of them are so great!!!!

The best work I’ve had done has come from this shop. About 3 years ago I got a tattoo here & I haven’t gone anywhere else sense. I recently got my nose & ears pierced here & Tess did a wonderful job. I recommend everyone I speak to about tattoos & piercings here. Keepsake Tattoo is the best shop in the region & more people need to know!

I had never heard of this place until a friend told me how good it was. So I figured I’d give it a try. Not going to lie, I was pretty skeptical but when I went and actually got my tattoo, I could not be more satisfied. This was my first ever tattoo and I was probably more nervous than I should’ve been lol. Kira, however, talked to me the duration of the tattoo (which only took 15 minutes. Very quick skilled & efficient) and that really took my mind off of it. Kira is very confident yet subtle. She’s knows what she’s doing and will make your ink look great:) strongly recommend. All the staff was fun and friendly. Definitely will be returning..

Out of all the shops i’ve been to, KeepSake was the number one shop that made me feel comfortable with who i am. I’ve been there twice. I had a watercolor paw print done by Kira, and butterflies done by Roman. Both artists made me feel comfortable and was very nice and professional with this. Love how my tattoos ended up. would definitely recommend this place again, and i will be returning!

I took my daughter to get her nose pierced by Tessa on Friday (Aug 6) . She followed Tessa’s instructions all weekend and while cleaning the piercing today (Aug 9) the ENTIRE piercing came out. My daughter contacted the shop and received a text from Tessa saying that her manager let her know that she was having an issue with her piercing but honestly would not have time to look at it until tomorrow(Aug 10) at 6:30 pm. I called and spoke with the manager who told me my only option would be to take her to another piercer if I did not want to wait until tomorrow. When I asked if I would be charged again he said honestly he couldn’t say. I’m confused aren’t YOU the MANAGER? I had my daughter send Tessa a text to let her know the entire piercing came out to which the reply was she would have to wait and have it redone in a couple of weeks and she would charge me half price. BE WARE when going here for a piercing I can only imagine what would happen with a tattoo!

During these crazy times, it was very clean and also very professional at keepsake. It was my first time going to a tattoo shop in indiana. Tess did both of my nose and eyebrow piercings. She did great and was very funny as well. I had a great experience and would love to get my tattoo there as well. It was definitely worth the 45mins drive.

I went in for a cover up and set up an appointment with Kira. First, no one was wearing masks. Not a single person in the shop. We spoke about options and I was very open to input/ideas given that cover ups are more difficult. She was clear that it would be challenging, but that we would work together to create something that would work. We set an appointment for 3 weeks later for the first session. I sent 20+ pictures of inspiration ideas (looking for anything we might be able to make work). The night before my appointment, after not hearing anything from Kira for 3 weeks, I was emailed one sketch (VERY far off from ANYTHING we discussed) and told none of my ideas would be possible but that "she could work with me to find something else at the appointment". Now, I understand the difficulty of a cover up, but emailing me THE NIGHT BEFORE (when you had 3 weeks) with no other options and forcing me to either rush to pick something that will be on my body forever or cancel the appointment was VERY unprofessional and disappointing. It would have been a simple task to email me the week before so other options could be discussed in time for the appointment. Instead, I am out $40 for a nonrefundable deposit (for an appointment I had every intention of showing up for) and time that could have been spent with a more professional business. I never write Google reviews, but this was extremely unprofessional. Take your money somewhere that will listen and communicate with you.
